Did this swap today. After going crazy trying to get the 10mm out of the bottom rear seat I gave up and left it. Turns out I didn't even need to remove it. Just unclipped it and had plenty access. Not sure why everyone is removing it.

I don't think this is it. I did the first step when I first got the car and that screw in the 3rd step was tight on mine. When I put pressure on the infotainment the rattle stops

At 15,000 miles the head unit rattle is absurd. I keep having to hold the head unit while I drive to avoid driving myself crazy. I have such a terrible track record with luck at dealerships. Debating trying the foam tape fix myself..

DO you like these? I'm on the fence. I don't love that they say Evasive rather than Type R, but no passenger would ever notice/care lol

Once I disabled the factory GPS all Carplay issues went away. Runs perfect now

Sorry to see this man. Shouldn't be too bad of a repair if bumpers are available. Did you report that grate or know where about it is?

Overland Designs shift boot and wrapped the center console with inspiration and wrap from @RUNN1N. My first time attempting any type of wrap. I'd give myself a B-.. Oh well, most imperfections I'm sure only I will notice.

I put sound deadening in the doors and rear hatch floor of my old FK8. Loved it. Also, makes closing the doors feel like a high end vehicle. I want to do it on the FL5

I use the red fk8 ones for when I'm sweaty, been swimming., or just dirty. Work great in the fl5
