For those who has this Honda software access, what model code does it say for 2025 type R?

I just looked up a used Canadian 25 FL5 and the VIN is slightly different from US and the VIN number only goes to about 160 for the whole model year. FL5 are gems in Canada.

Interesting. I didn't know Honda starts importing hatchback hybrid from Japan since April/May even when tariff is added. On another note, Honda Australia announced a new racing blue color for FL5 which looks like BB. Maybe a sign for 26?

Regular Civic sedan and hatchback are made in north America. That means those factories have switched to MY26. Only Type R is made in Japan. It's awaiting its own announcement on what's next.

It's almost August when Honda transited to MY25 last year. After they announced the ultimate edition in Europe, I have been waiting for the limited edition for US or global announcement but no news. So I'm pretty much waiting for 26 FL5 announced now. Honda could end it in 25 like TLX did but...

And Honda keeps pumping the FL5 hard from the factory. Vin already gets up to near 5200 and there are still 2 more months to go if they followed schedule like last year till end of August.

I just bought a 25 so deep down I wish MY25 is the last year but after they released the ultimate edition statement, it looks like to me they will still sell the FL5 in 26 and end in MY26 for Europe. So likely I would expect USA will also have MY26 FL5 for half year till early or spring 27...

It's surprising to me Honda continues to import them as they lost money on tariffs selling at MSRP. I think almost all the Honda sold in USA are made in US or Canada and rarely any new Honda VIN starts with J but FL5. Thanks for the update. Please let us know if Honda continues to import in June.
