they always have been...spoon is actually race proven, track proven parts that fit like oem but with better quality (most are just refined actual oem parts). worth the money for sure imo, mugen never has been. even their race wheels are heavy af
mugen is trash now...it's all looks. spoon actually spends time at the track perfecting every part they put out. not sure the last time i saw any r&d by mugen, they're just a style company now.
they are definitely out there, i did not want to swap it myself and get involved. so i bought my friends which was done perfectly with a/c with all high quality hybrid racing parts. you'll have to pay probably $10k+ to get a clean one though that isn't a ragged out rusted pos lol
