  1. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

Motor Trend is the only outlet that released any instrumented data. Not to question them, but it seems weird that all of these other publications (including fellow old guard like Car & Driver) are only publishing ā€˜first drive’ impressions. How and why did Motor Trend have the time and access to...
  2. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

What do you mean by ā€˜actually?’ You’re (unintentionally) implying that Hondata’s results are dishonest in some way. Different types of dynamometers read differently. Hondata have repeatedly stated that theirs is intended to approximate crank numbers, so it will be higher than others that read...
  3. Reserved your 2022 Civic Si? -- Add it to CivicXI Reservations Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

Seems like some weird stuff going on around that area. I put a deposit on one north of Dayton that doesn’t have a build date until December 21-25. At the time, nobody else around there was showing anything that was already built (at least anything that wasn’t spoken for), but now Castrucci will...
  4. Reserved your 2022 Civic Si? -- Add it to CivicXI Reservations Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

What dealer did you order from? Is your car already built, or did they give you a build date?
  5. Picked up my crystal black 2022 Civic Si today

I’m also in Ohio and have a deposit on a black one. Congrats! Where In Ohio are you?
  6. Picked up 2022 Civic Si Sonic Gray - my review & first impressions!

I think it’s very hard to draw conclusions about how ā€˜hard’ it ā€˜pulls’ when the only guy we know who has one is avoiding hard acceleration, no?
  7. Picked up 2022 Civic Si Sonic Gray - my review & first impressions!

It’s way worse than the (also ugly) WRX. Actually, as a non-Subie-diehard, I don’t even think the new Rex is that bad. It’s bad, to be clear, but I think the terrible angles of the reveal photos and video make it look way worse than reality.
  8. Picked up 2022 Civic Si Sonic Gray - my review & first impressions!

Hondata is +34hp and +50lb-ft on the non-Si 1.5t for the 11th gen. I think it’s very likely they’re going to open the Si up substantially. It’s going to be the best $500 you can spend on this thing.
  9. Picked up 2022 Civic Si Sonic Gray - my review & first impressions!

I’ve got a 2022 with a late December build date reserved at msrp. Looking at Autotrader, there are a few 2019’s near me with anywhere from 17000 to 38000 miles on them going for $1200—$1500 more than I’m paying for the 2022…and KBB is tagging those with ’great price!’ So, yeah, msrp has become a...
