Toyota and other manu's have recalls as well. The important part to me is: 1. prevalence of recall issue, 2. danger of recall issue, and 3. planned resolution It looks like they're making things right, and it's a fairly small percentage affected vs the Toyota floor mats, takata airbag recall, etc.

Have you seen one in person? It's far less offensive. The one I saw in a parking lot was a red/maroon color, had Canada plates. The other one I saw on the road was in white, not bad either. The dumb black grille really is less shouty (still shouty for sure, just less so) in person

It ends up being "an ugly GRC for $38,175" (has LSD) vs the Type R at $44,000, both including destination cost. Then you have the Elantra N for $33,245 in manual, also including destination. And that one comes with heated seats ?‍♂️

From the Throttle House video, steering feel isn't as good, but he didn't experience the 1-2 grind. Drift king (Tsuchiya) seemed to enjoy it but found it to be a bit bouncy. Guess we'll see how it bears out
