Nice! Yes, we love this offset and this is great news for existing FK8 CTR owners that want to carry over wheels from the previous gen (if they already have the right offfset).
HODL! But yes, it looks like 18x9.5 +45 might be the limit on OE suspension, any lower of an offset will not only increase the chance of rubbing at full compression, it is likely going to induce torque steer which the old FK8 CTR chassis experienced quite a bit with lower offsets.

Yes and no - The FK8 previous gen could fit 18x10 +41 (effectively same outward clearance as 18x9.5 +~35) which required fender trimming. It is very likely the new FL5 11th Gen CTR will not require any fender work for 18x9.5 +45 squared setup. The last thing people would like to do is to cut up...

It will work but you might lack inner clearance - Our TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 5x120 will have about ~2mm more inner clearance with the inner liner/firewall and at full lock, and it will be flush. The 18x10 +41 will be about ~10mm more outwards poke than what you see below.

Stock wheel offset is 19x9.5 +60. 18x9.5 +45 will be the perfect spec for this car for those who want to fit better rubber and reduce unsprung weight in the aftermarket realm.
