Not sure. I got mine before the tariff BS. If you want one that’s super similar (same material, similar design), there’s an American manufacturer that’s worth looking at. Check out RSplitters. They do a textured topside of the lip that looks really nice.
Replaced my bumper today and while I had it off, I decided to swap out the PA hardware for Strix set. NOTABLY nicer hardware and the flat washer design is MUCH better than what PA provides. Highly recommend this product.
Wow. Assuming that is “normal”, I agree the midpipe would be a big concern to me. I was going to go Seeker before I did Fujitsubo, and I’m glad I didn’t now.
That looks awesome. I almost bought their Power Extreme R exhaust, but couldn’t find much info/sound clips. This one looks very similar with a slightly different tip design.
I agree there are certainly some quirks to what the YouTuber experienced. He also didn’t seem especially enthusiastic with the end result.
The remark does seem like the better route in that price range.
It’s a good looking tip design, and I do dig that it comes with a resonator and delete. That being said, the tone with the resonator didn’t do it for me. The delete sounds good, but I think it would drive me crazy. Haha.
Mine has not. I’m on factory tune too.
I believe the CEL stories are due to improper installation. The install is way more involved than other intakes, but if you take your time and do it right, you shouldn’t have a problem.
Not sure if anyone noticed but they released an actual REPLACEMENT console. I’m fairly certain it’s the only one on the market. Wondering if anyone’s got it and how the fitment is.
De minimis threshold ended 8/31. Regardless of value, you’re going to owe tariffs when it hits customs. UPS and FedEx have been completely unpredictable in what you will owe too. Since wheels are metal, I’m sure they will try to royally screw you.
Those come in the 19x9.5 +45. I’ve really wanted to see how they look on a FL5 but can’t find any pics of them installed.
I do think in the 18s, they will look awkward on the FL5. The lip and spoke design will make them look smaller than they are.
I have 18s and part of me wishes I got 19s. I’m on stock suspension and I do think 19s fill up the wells a lot better. That being said, I also think it depends greatly on the design of the wheel and the tire choice. I say “tire choice” because it’s more than just the size. Even the model tire...
I called around and found a local tire shop that I trust. They were super knowledgeable and I felt confident/comfortable with them. I would suggest you do the same.
Based on their description, I would assume that you’d need a broker. I did sea shipping through an importer and they handled the broker/customs process. It takes forever, but if you’re a patient person, you can save a lot of money.
I had issues with a simple set of valve stem caps. They shipped from BBS via FedEx and sat in a customs hold for 2 weeks because they didn’t know how to categorize them.
Yeah. UPS is absolutely pocketing a ton of cash simply because they can. They can hold your package hostage for as long as they want. It’s messed up.
Got another update: I spoke with someone at Swift and they recommended using FL5 springs even if you have the DE5 ADS module. The primary difference between their FL5 and DE5 springs is a slight height difference to compensate for the different body shapes.
Update on this: I spoke to someone at Eibach. Despite having different part numbers, the FL5 and DE5 springs are actually identical. They only separate the part numbers to track sales between the two models. Who knew?
That being said, I do believe that Swift’s DE5 springs are actually a...
