Took my 25 Si to a different dealer, they didn't hesitate to take the job on. They were able to replicate the issue. They replaced my steering rack assembly under warranty. Thank God and thank the good service advisor/dealer that didn't just deny a warranty claim out of laziness. Car drives...
I do all my own service and oil changes. My job is mechanic. That said when it comes to this system I would rather gamble on having the dealer do the work.
They are NOT going to give this recall work or steering rack replacement to the 18 year old lube tech. It's a safety item that will be...
11/24 build date.
It's hard to explain. Just google civic steering wheel sticking. Tons of articles and videos on the issue. 1.7 million vehicles recalled over it.
Basically I'm just trying to drive straight on the freeway, but I can't. The wheel locks up and requires a hard jerk to un-stick...
I would get it done. My 2025 Si has the steering issue right now. 16k miles. Somehow my car is not on the recall list so the dealer is giving me a hard time and doesn't want to perform the fix.
My 2025 Si is doing this at 16k miles. My previous 2022 did this as well. Can't believe Honda has not figured this out. My Si is so bad driving home from work. Constant fight to un-stick the steering. I look like a total noob driving making jerking left and right motions just trying to drive...
Yeah I worded that wrong. Since the 11th gen already has a lightweight, single mass flywheel, why aren't there aftermarket clutches that work with the stock flywheel?
That way I would only need to buy a clutch kit. VS having to spend over $1k in parts for a clutch plus RV6 flywheel.
1.5 pounds doesn't seem like much which is a good thing. I'm just curious why there aren't more stock flywheel clutch upgrades. Why does everyone still recommend the FK8 flywheel over our stock flywheel?
I've had Eibach pro kit on 2 different 11th gen Civics. I can give some feedback here.
On my 2024 hatch EX I felt they were slightly too soft. Would bottom out too easily. I was super happy with the drop height, though.
On the 2025 Si, the first day I thought they were too stiff. After a...
Thanks! I had the ampliforms on my 24 Hatch and they look great on that car as well.
Konig Ampliform 18x8.5 et35

I had a 2024 civic EX hatch CVT with 1.5 Phearable tune. Now have a 25 Si with Phearable tune.
Both cars really wake up with the tune. But the CVT was much more drastic. Even on Map 2 the car pulls so hard compared to stock. Not even remotely comparable. My sister still owns the car and it's...
I use a small jack (2 ton) to slightly jack up one side from front pinch weld. Then use my 3 ton jack to raise from the front center jack point (deep under the front end).
Then I use two jack stands under the front pinch welds.
I also put a jack or two behind the jack stands, that is just...
I might hold the record...
97 civic EX. Tons of mods
2017 Civic Si coupe Aegean blue. Mods: PRL SRI. Absolutely loved this car, would drag race it and canyon trips. I was beating wrx's and g35s at the time. It was definitely one of those rare above rated horsepower examples. I would have never...
Confirmed with my Snap On scanner that IAT2 temperature data is available from the data stream in the 2025 Civic Si.
This is a Ktuner issue, and they told me today they do not plan to take the time to fix this. Sad.
Question for you, or anyone here that knows.
Would it be a bad idea to run the Phearable 1.5R 93 tune, with only having 91 octane available? Leave it in Map 1 or 2. Then when I want more power, add a gallon of E85 for map 3?
Yes I cut the bumpstops per Eibach instructions. Again I'm used to the ride now and actually appreciate the stiffness. It doesn't bottom out nearly as easily as my 24 exl does, both vehicles have the pro kit.
They are definitely noisy and creaking. Also happened on my 24 civic exl with pro kit. This one is worse on the Si. Front and rear creaks.
I read you can grease the springs when installing. Where they contact the upper and lower strut mounts/rubber. Wish I had tried that.
UPDATE: So after a few hundred miles I am completely used to the more stiff ride. The drop is perfect for my taste. The stiffer ride is a good thing because I scrape and bottom out a lot LESS than my 2024 exl that was lowered on the pro kit.
I'm happy with the Eibach PRO kit on my 2025 Si...
