We have a P-Car and yes, the "maintenance and Inspection package" which also consists of tire rotation, brake fluid flush and oil change is almost $2000 CAD. A tough pill for sure.
Thank-you. In Canada, the vehicles have to be sold at MSRP unlike the weird and wonderful goings-on down south :)
I'm curious as to what the MSRP will be for the Canadian market....
These are some awesome stories, and I feel like I am in good company! My first brand new car was a Honda, a 1993 Civic which I modified heavily on my meagre wage as a high school student. Subsequently, I have owned vehicles of all marques and price points but still have a deep rooted affinity...
All speculation of course, but my local (small-ish) Honda dealer here in Alberta says that they are getting 7 cars over the production cycle. I'm supposedly #2 in line (have provided a credit card number) but have no further details or an ETA.
Its been exactly 30 years since I purchased my first brand new car; a 1993 Civic EX sedan that was factory ordered with a manual transmission. There is a little bit of nostalgia that has crept up and influenced the decision to place my name on the list for an FL5, incidentally the 30th...
Agreed. The red door mirror caps add a nice splash of colour to the grey. Would be nice to see some close-ups of the spoiler to see how the carbon weave appears in natural light.
Great idea! No speculation on price from any of the dealers I have called yet. I'm led to believe that more information will be available sometime in the next couple of weeks.
I have received confirmation that my details are loaded into STRIPE now. (Dealer did it; I was not provided a link). I'm #2 in the queue at my local dealer. No ETA on arrivals yet, although some speculation that it might not be till early '23.
My information is consistent with that provided by your second dealer:
I.E "dealership said those Stripe links were ONLY for dealerships to decide who they want to sell to and used as tracking/verification by Honda Canada"
Embargoed information to be released later this week by Honda Canada to...
My first choice is CW. I would reluctantly take the Red, but otherwise will pass on the allocation. Like others, I don't need to have this car, but if I'm going to shell out a princely sum, it better come the way I want it.
I have an E90 M3 and have put my name on a list for an FL5. I think it is like comparing apples to oranges; nothing beats the sonorous sound of a NA V8 singing at 8500RPM. The M3 is a keeper, and I suspect I will feel the same way about the Type R too.
