Wow good job! I was talking to them for a bit but ended up ignoring their calls and emails because their vibe sucked. That's a great deal for CA (unfortunate though that $4K over is a "great deal") and a good sign for the rest of us.
If I buy this car it will be to daily. To me the cool thing about the CTR is that it can be an only car; if I could have two cars I'd get a Miata or GR86 and something practical. That said, all of this feedback is interesting to me — I'm annoyed that the FL5 seems to have taken a step back in...
IMO his videos are for (meager) entertainment only, but I do think this video is interesting — mostly because he actually owns the Type R. I expected him to be more wildly positive about that car vs. the EN.
I’d be coming from the other direction — own an EN and maybe want a Type R someday...
I’m conflicted between the two but leaning GR Corolla. I live in the PNW where it rains all the time, and I think the GRC might be more fun more often. I also prefer a smaller car and want heated seats.
I also don’t care about having the very best performer — I am 100% happy with my Elantra N...

Really looking forward to your reviews and comparisons. I imagine you will cover this (and maybe can't answer yet) — but why pick up the Type R over an Elantra N? I imagine the Type R will be better for the channel — and it looks about one billion times better — but I'm curious re: driving...
