uhm are we watching the same thing? cause auto auctions have been failing to catch bids. a 2019 Golf R was going for nearly 45k at used prices, now its going for 36k just a few months later.
pretty sure they don't have to ablity to see cars at ports, only other dealers. Honestly most of what the stealership says is hot air. Trust me when I say, we know about the car way more than some salesman does.
its 44k in the states. The car bubble just popped. I think if you wait another 6 months you should start finding cars under sticker. Carmax earnings came out yesterday and it was dismal and so was their guidance. This is just he start of the recession, we'll be knee deep in it next summer.
There are double digit up ticks on repos, cars are not getting sold at auctions and interest rates are spiking on all loans. Banks will start tightening standards, I just don't see them loaning 120% value of the car.
since someone brought up how type r is faster than cars twice its price. CT4 Blackwing can be had for about the price of a FL5 with a markup and faster cars 3 times its price.
Type S won't get the R bits like wider fenders or dual axis suspension. Head of Type S even said its more for street and the Type R is designed for the track.
I always wonder whos smart idea to spend the money build a different N on a awkward 3 door when they already had a i30n they could have sold as a Elantra GTN. It really could have been a hit and took some GTI market share. Veloster was fun as hell and price just right but just the 3 door and...
I’d love a i30n. I think the refresh looks way better than the Elantra. Might even take it over the Type R if the price was same as the Elantra. Don'tcare about laptimes, whats more engaging to drive.
