I just ordered a Boost Blue sport Touring hatch in 6 speed today.
Sold my FK8.
Canadian hatch Touring 6 speeds get a different shift knob than the Americans.
That’s interesting. I got that photo of Honda.ca. It must be a Canadian only Knob for the Touring or sport

I might buy one but I am not going to put anything down and preorder until this car is fully unveiled. So far it looks impressive…. Didn’t like it at first but I change my tune :)
However, I want to see what the Integra is all about first, might be best to wait and see
Well, not going to lie….. at first I wasn’t impressed with this car but the more I look at it and more I think it might be decent.
I sold my FK8 today for more than I paid for it new….so I’m looking healthy to actually buy a new R when it’s time.
like I said, I was pretty hard on it’s basic...
If they stay ….MSRP might be higher than the LE was… add on deal markups…
Wouldn’t be shocked to see dealers demanding $55,000 plus.
For an accord wanna be ?
Still think it looks bland as bland can be.
Honda must be extremely Afraid to show some fun in their designs these days.
Almost reminds me of a Dodge Dart from the rear.
FK8 had a unashamed attitude about it.
This new CTR, well. Accord with a Wing.
Why bother man
Maybe I’m just the lone wolf here, but that wing doesn’t look right.
It looks off to me. Honda tried so hard to make the base civic look so simple and invisible in a crowd… and for the type R they took that design and put a paper thin wing on a very pedestrian looking design.
Maybe I’m the only...
was
100% man.
10th Gen R is like that 1960s muscle car attitude
11th gen R appears like an Buick with the wing.
Maybe that’s too harsh and I don’t mean to bash on the new R. But man… it looks like an accord with a clothesline on the boot.
I’m sticking with my 10th CTR. I feel it has that crazy Japanese Samurai-ish appeal.
The core design of the 11th gen is clearly to have a much more tone down style and I personally feel to ram on some type R bits to such a clean design doesn’t work. I don’t really “dig” the flow at all. Looks...
Yeah man I agree with most of that too.
Honda found ways to castrate the 11th gen by limiting colours for the Si and kinda disappointing to see the cars are slower.
i personally feel the 11th gen is way too “ generic and mundane“, I see them on the road and honestly they look almost invisible...
