  1. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

yeah, I'd say HKS is more aggressive sounding and honestly a bit louder. Just be aware, there is some drone. If you find yourself driving a lot for periods of I'd say an hour or more, and with other people in the car, it could get annoying.
  2. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

I think this has more drone than Apexi form what I can remember when I had apexi. However, the drone isn't that bad and I've kept it on so far. The drone usually hits around 65mph...but not a lot of drone to me.
  3. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

Thanks, I fixed some audio issues in recording and will upload a new vid of just cruising in the car with the hks hi power...to give those an idea of how it is inside. The video is uploading to youtube right now, so it'll be a bit.
  4. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

Lol yeah so hard sometimes to describe these exhausts. Comparing to apexi, I want to say apexi was deeper. This has a bit more aggressive growl to it compared to apexi. I've tried Milltek 2 tip remark Apexi Mugen (still have it) Awe Touring and track Invidia MXP On my fk8 pretty much the same...
  5. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

Yeah should be near perfect with the factory downpipe
  6. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

I did get 200 off, so it was around 2100 My awe Touring I got that for 1300
  7. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

I didn't pay attention to the rpma, but mainly the mph. At 66 to about 80mph there is drone when your going slightly uphill. I could see this drone a lot at the track though. I'm running rv6 catted downpipe. For me, so far after a couple days, the only drone I get isn't too often for daily...
  8. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust: Pics and Vid

I guess I'm like the exhaust whisperer at this point. I ended up getting the HKS Hi-Power to try it out. I do like this exhaust and glad some things I was worried about weren't an issue for me. 1. I was worried it would be too loud with my RV6 catted downpipe...it's not surprisingly 2. Worried...
  9. AWE Touring - 2 Months Old - Cracked

Thank you. I had sent an email to kamispeed since when I read on awe it said to go through who I bought it from. I know the storm is bad so not expecting to hear much till later this week. Kamispeed did reply today and said they contact you guys, but haven't heard back...again probably the storm.
  10. AWE Touring - 2 Months Old - Cracked

The power comment was sarcasm 😂 Thanks for the info
  11. AWE Touring - 2 Months Old - Cracked

Posting this for awareness. I haven't heard back from the company I bought it from/through. My experience with AWE hasn't been great. Maybe some of you have had good experience, but fysa. The weld gave out and cracked. Horrible sound. While yes I can get it fixed easily...2 months old and this...
  12. Cobb Redline Intake and Intercooler Released

Not the greatest before and after comparison, but prior to the Cobb intake with the RV6 660 turbo I made 424hp and 375tq After getting it retuned, it was evident more fuel was needed, so with the Cobb intake and added Full Race HPFP I ended up with 442hp and 390tq.
  13. Supposed idle issues with aftermarket intake airbox?

I thought the same. I tried a new gasket and still had a off idle. Didn't make sense. It's not like PRL is super complicated either. It's a good intake. My car just didn't like it lol
  14. Supposed idle issues with aftermarket intake airbox?

yeah, I couldn't figure it out either. I remember posting how I bought prl to avoid idle issues and someone replied saying prl has idle issues as well, guess they were right lol.
  15. Supposed idle issues with aftermarket intake airbox?

yeah, that's what it did to me. It was minor, but enough to make me not want it anymore lol It was really annoying in parking lots though. I'm trying to drive around nomal and my car is over revving with the idle hanging way to long. That was my main issue with it.
  16. Supposed idle issues with aftermarket intake airbox?

Just updating, I've driven around like crazy with the new cobb revised intake box. Zero issue, stays on just fine. I did install the hose part differently that attaches to the box. This time I clamped all that down really good, then bolted down the actual box. I felt like this ensured there were...
