Doesn't sound as good as an exhaust IMO, but for someone looking for a tiny upgrade over stock... Sounds pretty decent! Not to mention the best part about this mod is its free ;)
I agree that mods is always something to verify. The one I linked is a Honda certified pre-owned, not fail safe of course but a good indicator that its been taken care of. Our definition of slightly used definitely differs and that's okay. I always consider the age vs mileage to determine if its...
Yes, I'd rather someone who maintained and drove it normally for 10k km per year than someone who beat on it for 800km and tried to flip it for $20-30k.
For the record I said the prices are still inflated. Here's a 2019 FK8 at 38k km for $46,700
2019 MSRP : $41,690 CAD
inflation from 2019 to...
Agreed, I'll only go for a FK8 if its in black, maaaybe in SGP. But again, it really needs to undercut its MSRP of the time by a decent margin. Otherwise the FL5 is an absolute no brainer decision considering it looks better, would have no prior owner and overall updated package.
I'll only take a used CTR if its priced a decent chunk below MSRP. Otherwise hell no. Not worth the risk of the previous owner having abused it AND paying over MSRP for it lol. Hopefully resellers/dealers are realizing that CTR buyers aren't willing to pay a premium for someone else's sloppy...
Only news I got is still back at the end of Oct/early Nov. I was re-confirmed they are only getting 2 between 2023-2025 and both are accounted for (one for me, and the other for another lucky person). Salesman has no idea when they expect to receive either car but told me to likely expect it...
In Canada:
FL5 - $51,945 (including PDI, etc)
TLX Type S - $63,990 (including PDI, etc)
Right in the middle would make it around ~$58,000 CAD. I can't see it being more expensive than the TLX Type S and no way is it cheaper than the FL5 haha. This should hopefully attract the FL5 buyers with...
I've been keeping an eye on FK8 prices in my area in Canada (Montreal area) and I've noticed prices going down. Prices for a 2019 FK8 in the 20k-50k KM area went from $46k-52k CAD to now being around $42k-50k CAD. That being said if you're looking at the 2020-2021 models theres not many of them...
Just bumping this thread again cause I'm always curious to hear people's thoughts on Si vs GR86 comparisons as well, especially those who've driven/owned both.
To be fair, their core values IS racing in F1. They literally started racing in F1 just 1 year after building their first car ever.
That being said, I agree that more pressure should be put to keeping customers happy and not the dealers.
What's actually illegal has to do with consumer advertising laws. Not 100% sure for Alberta but QC and ON have consumer laws that state sell price must match advertised sale price. The only way they could legally mark it up is if they advertise it at the marked up price.
Things get muddy for...
Maybe that's their dealership policy? I've had a $500 deposit down since April-May 2022. Note that I'm in Quebec, so not sure if its a provincial thing.
My rep confirmed they are receiving 2 units from 2023 to 2025 and both are "pre-sold" (one to me, and the other to someone else). He expects to receive them in 2024 as they are not a high volume dealer.
My sales rep sent me a text confirming pricing yesterday and mentioned the website should get updated soon. Just replied to him this morning asking for an update on expected delivery.
Agreed, hence why I put it in quotations haha. I presume they can "place orders" for what they would prefer to receive, and then Honda tries to somewhat match it with what is already in the production pipeline.
