Saw this on Facebook in the comments below their DE5 exhaust post which is tight up to the diffuser. This was the only thing preventing me from making a purchase so I hope to hear more soon...
Yes these are in some HRV and Accords. The price from US Honda for these parts is even crazier with limited stock!
If someone wanted to save a little bit they might be able to get a used climate control module but those are likely hard to find in junkyards.
Thank you for your order! Yes I have another small batch of these incoming in about 1.5 weeks and I have them up for pre-order now. These are hard to get but I have secured enough to get a few other Type R/Type S owners converted to Racing Black.
After driving with them for a few weeks I've...
Mark me down as someone on stock springs and 19" wheels where I prefer the factory FL5 ADS module. I tried the DE5 one for a few months but ultimately felt like it compromised the sharpness of the car in the softer modes.
Thanks for your order. I'll get them shipped out tomorrow.
I am currently SOLD OUT on these but trying to get more in stock and will bump this thread if I do.
I bought a few extra sets of the OEM Honda Racing Black climate control knob rings when I did the swap on my personal FL5. From what I can tell these will also fit the Integra Type S but I have not fully confirmed this yet. They are super easy to install and do not require any special tools...
I was able to pull mine loose during the PRL intake install. Took more force than I would have liked but it's possible. What happened to the spring clamps they used on all older Honda's?!
I'll definitely pick up an Acuity shifter if they have a great sale.
It would be rare to get a good deal on Spoon stuff during Black Friday. You're lucky to get any parts out of Japan without crazy tariffs right now...
I've had no problems taking reverse mount wheels to my local Discount Tire. They have pretty new machines and their techs seem to take their time if you make it clear you care about you wheels.
If you've replaced your wing with something aftermarket I am looking to purchase just the left and right brackets from your factory wing. It looks like Honda only sells them with the wing. I'd also take the hardware if you have it!
Please send me a DM if you're willing to sell.
They probably did that because the 15-20% tariffs will get you on the backend. I'm sure Black Hawk Japan's US sales have dropped dramatically in the last couple of months.
I recently paid $40 duties on a <$200 order. Be careful with what you buy in these uncertain times.
Anyone struggling or planning on installing the Project Aero front lip should consider purchasing my upgraded hardware kit I put together. I've sent a few kits out already and have a bunch of other FL5 products in the works!
It makes the install much easier and quality stainless steel instead...
As an early adopter of the ITS module I ended up going back to the stock FL5 one after a few months. The ITS felt too soft and sacrificed performance in Sport and R mode. Comfort was almost a joke and way too soft.
All of the old links are broken. This appears to be the one they are releasing for the Type R and Type S: https://www.dscsport.com/products/civic-dsc-sport-controller
I've been a longtime member of this forum and have started developing some products for the FL5 and other vehicles under the brand @STRIX Auto. I have a few things in the works but the first product is a replacement hardware kit for the popular Project Aero front lip.
I'm a huge fan of this lip...
Still pretty sure that there will not be a 2026. I know someone shared an inventory photo but those can be wrong or faked. It's so late for them to announce another year at this point...
