What are you're thoughts on overall feel compared to stock when it comes to daily driving? Equal to stock? harsher?
I've been running swift springs with ITS ADS for a quite a bit and i love it, but its definitely a bit harsher than stock. Can i expect a similar daily driving feel with the RS-R...
I have a similar sound happen but mine comes from the hatch’s latch. Depending on the road, there’s enough play for it to rattle - so annoying. lol.
I’ve been putting a couple layers of electrical tape on the latch and it works every time. I just need to redo it every few months as it starts to...
had a random thought, is it possible to change the active valve behavior via Hondata?
For example:
Comfort: always closed
Sport: same behavior as stock
+R: always open.
Think that would be a feature that not only stock exhaust drivers would appreciate, but also those with aftermarket exhaust...
I go back and forth between having an active valve and fully disabling it all the time and in my experience, there is literally no difference between the two. I cannot speak for others, but I just chalk up those cold start driving comments to placebo.
Pull the fuse. You’ll be alright.
The only way I have gotten the rattle to go away is to pull the active valve fuse so the flap is stuck in the "open" position.
I've been running it this way with no rattle for weeks and today i decided to re-activate it and the rattle is back. What a shame.
Has anyone from Apexi commented on...
I got this new rattle that sounds like it’s coming from the driver side air vent (right next to the door) when scrolling revs around 2k-ish. Sounds like there’s something inside there rattling.
Anyone else?
After installing my Apexi exhaust, I took the stock one back home in the Type R.
Put the backseats down and lay the passenger seat a bit down. Place the muffler end in the trunk on the driver side and then the other end will fit straight through towards the passenger side window. It will stick...
100%. Ride quality - from a comfort perspective - definitely got worse after installing the springs. When it comes to track performance, I’m sure these springs help out quite a bit.
I would say that with 18s, swift springs, & ITS ads module, the car feels pretty close to what it did when fully...
Really been eying this exhaust so appreciate the write up! its just what I wanted to hear. Any photos / videos?
Question to all vendors here: anyone currently have this in stock at the moment? Might pull the trigger sooner rather than later if so.
Installed my ITS module yesterday! Have to do more driving today but first impressions were real nice; floats over some of the smaller bumps in the road (as comfort mode should) but you still feel some of the bigger bumps. By no means does this turn the car into a luxury ride. You still feel...
I've had this happen to me once or twice when starting up the car in very cold temps (im in Chicago) and trying to use the infotainment system as soon as the car is on. I now give it a bit before trying to press or change anything and it hasn't happened again.
Never had this happen in the...
for what its worth, my type R audio lag behaves exactly the same as what i had in my 2.0 Accord. Both seem to have the same "operating system" vs the FK8 which i believe was the last gen OS.
I think its just the way it is, unfortunately.
