I go back and forth between having an active valve and fully disabling it all the time and in my experience, there is literally no difference between the two. I cannot speak for others, but I just chalk up those cold start driving comments to placebo. Pull the fuse. You’ll be alright.

The only way I have gotten the rattle to go away is to pull the active valve fuse so the flap is stuck in the "open" position. I've been running it this way with no rattle for weeks and today i decided to re-activate it and the rattle is back. What a shame. Has anyone from Apexi commented on...

for what its worth, my type R audio lag behaves exactly the same as what i had in my 2.0 Accord. Both seem to have the same "operating system" vs the FK8 which i believe was the last gen OS. I think its just the way it is, unfortunately.
