Yeah I agree with you. Going by the number floating around this forum, Canada will receive about 540 CTRs over 3 years, which is 180/year. If they allocate their top 3 dealers in the 7 big provinces, each gets about 8-9 CTRs per year. Lets see what actually happens...
Hopefully every province has something similar!
Ah so we're at different dealerships. I placed mine at Halton Honda in Burlington, no one in the west was accepting any pre bookings.
Its a 2013MY V6-6MT with an HFP Package. Its stated to have 278hp & 252lb.ft., but some tasteful mods now put it at 300+whp.
250xxxkms. And climbing. Still drives like a dream! ?
I really appreciate your candidness good sir.
I've test driven the M2C once, and although it was on a back road, I could clearly see why people really like it. But honestly, in that moment, doing 150km/hr in a 60km/hr zone, I realized its just too much power for the road to actually enjoy. And...
I am sorry to hear that. It sounds pretty painful. I won't be having that issue in the foreseeable future, and that 53:47 weight distribution is really tempting.
You have a 2021 M2C man ? Why are you thinking of getting the FL5? ? I was sold on the M2C until I saw the new CTR and saw how much more practical it is in real life, and can be driven all year round too.
Going by pure numbers, Canada will get 540 over 3 years (rumor, probably true), which is 180/year. If they give allocations to their top 3 dealers in 7 big provinces, each dealer would get about 8-9 cars/year. If you made hay while the sun shone and got yourself on the waitlist before it hit 8...
One another thing to take into account while looking at those sales numbers is the inflation rate and the increase in rate of interest, at least in Canada. The economy is not doing particularly well, and the sales numbers reflect that.
I agree with you on that one. The first year might see some low production due to supply chain issues, but Honda will surely resolve it. Cus the demand for this CTR is certainly not going down anytime soon.
