Yes, my sway bar was hitting the CV axle when trying to rotate it higher. That is why I had to lift the knuckle up so the CV axles moved up with it. Then I could swing the sway bar up higher for a little more clearance.
Careful you don't put yourself in a situation that you can't get the bolt...
I recently had the same problem but on my FL1. I disconnected both front sway bar endlinks. Lift both knuckles by putting jacks under them and then lower the car just enough so the axles moved higher to allow the sway bar to be lifted higher. I then was able to tap the bolt out. For some reason...
Lowering springs would not cause a vibration but may amplify a vibration that was already there beforehand.
Did you have those wheels and tires on before the spring install? If you didn't or if you did and swapped the front to rear, then yes most likely the tpms light will come on. These cars...
Any civic or Integra with the 9“ infotainment screen (standard is 7“) will have wireless Android Auto. Civic tourings and acura tech packages has the 9“.
Just to be super accurate on fitment. All parts that fit a 22+Civic Si or SEDAN with 1.5t will fit the Acura integra. Reason I mention this is because I made the mistake of assuming since the integra was a hatch and my civic sport touring is a hatch, that the exhaust would be the same. The...
100% Yes, ktuner works. Acura is Honda. The Integra is a civic. The Integra has the same 1.5L turbo L15CA engine in the Si. You can also get tunes from Phearable and Two step performance (TSP) (23psi) if you want even more HP than the base tunes (16/18/21 psi) that come with ktuner for that engine.
I think you answered your own question but others are misleading you. Everything you're saying is for an Si except comfort. If you want si performance with regular civic comfort you should get an Integra.
Options for modifying/tuning a civic hybrid is almost non-existant. You are going to be...
"Made Contact"! 😂
If it were just the bumper cover I would maybe take it, but the bar and intercooler was replaced. That takes a lot of force which means someone was driving it over normal parking speeds and hit something hard. I would ask for more off the msrp price and the Honda extended...
Why do you think it is the prl hvi and tune combo is the problem? PRL is a reputable company, I doubt their intake is the problem, unless the maf housing warped, cast incorrectly, or leaking. As long as any intake has the OEM sized maf housing and you have no leaks, it should not matter. 29:1...
How to say this without apparently sounding like "AI" again, but a car is a car. 95% of tuning cars is universal. I've been tuning Honda/Acura for 30 years now. Why does not owning an FL5 make my suggestions irrelevant!?! Only reason I bought an FL1 was because I developed arthritis in my left...
You are not going to notice a 6lbs difference in wheel weight reduction per corner. It would have to be around a 15lbs reduction before it makes a difference and even then it is minor.
You will notice going from the OEM 60mm to a 45mm. 15mm or 0.6" will not only be visually noticeable but...
Jack90210 is correct.
When seating a wheel, it must always be star pattern to make sure the wheel centers properly and the other lugs don't get a false torque reading. If they are just retorquing, then any pattern is fine.
Thank you. I teach chemistry and physics for mostly Juniors in High School. At their age students are getting or have their first car and some are interested in upgrades. We get to have a lot of good car related discussions and then I use it to teach them science.
Yes, the oem turbo falls flat after 4k, it has an exit corner kick to a straight line meh. I was hoping someone would make an all around mild turbo upgrade for autoX, road slaloms, and precision lane changing through city traffic (i don't condone reckless driving ;)). Situations with very tight...
That's a step in the right direction.
Trouble is the OEM turbo, WHEN TUNED, is far superior in HP and response before 3800RPM. A tradeoff that is not appealing to a street car driver. Show a side by side dyno of your tuned gin turbo vs TSP/Phearable tuned OEM turbo, it's noticeable!
I owned a...
Yes. I put an Si rear sway bar onto my 2022 ST and reused the brackets and endlinks which were perfect fit. The bushings are bonded to the bar so those cant be bought separate.
There is still plenty of room for the brake pedal to travel without hitting the floor. I've made many hard stops and not been any where near bottoming out. I think the brake pedal lower will help you a lot, after adjusting mine I was able to adjust my seat more forward. You should probably skip...
So, do you feel like you are to far away or to close to comfortably use all the pedals.
I felt like the brake pedal was to high and the gas pedal to low.
1) I bought the generic pedal spacer off Amazon. It's the exact same thing as the acuity pedal spacer at half the price.
2) The brake pedal...
Any changes after the cat, no tune is needed. Frontpipe included.
A downpipe is highly suggested.
Upgrades that usually require a tune are any fuel related upgrades, turbos, or a larger maf housing.
