There's a recall for that issue related to the steering/worm wheel gear. Depending on where you are the recall may not be in effect yet. In South Africa it's just been made official. US has had the recall since Oct 24 iirc. Check with your local dealership if there is recall on your vehicle...

Also found it hidden in the manual, 1000km in my part of the world. I watched a few videos and read about engine braking, which you can do through the normal course of driving during those 600 miles. Congrats and many happy miles!

Until you find a permanent solution, why not just use a small towel? I am using one on the back seat matched to the black, hopefully it helps keep it fresh for longer.

Hi @DailyDrive_R Thank you for the photos. I picked up my white CTR, in South Africa and I am also missing that part on the side. But also I do not have the holder for the emergency triangle. Can you share the part number for that foam holder if it has one, please? Regards N
