GTI actually sound pretty nice imo. The new c63s is a real shame, nearly 700hp and it sounds worse than the Type R.

I know feel like I might regret it. But finding a Type R for a fair price is gonna be like the Hunger games the first year.

exhausts don't make the sounds better, it just amplifies the crappy sound.

don't knock on the probe. I had a 95 GT back in the day and it was a great car all around and had a amazing exhaust note with a right exhaust. bodystyle certainly aged well.

for sure. But I think the first gen m2 LCI will be the one to get imo. I think the design certainly looks more attractive and I much prefer the classic gauges vs Ipad screens.

A car can be fast around a track due to power and wide ass tires but you cant beat physics. Anything above 3500 start really feeling that weight. Id rather have something like a gr86 vs a new m2.

its 63k in the US so with carbon buckets and executive package I'm getting it'll be over 70 with taxes. Honestly thats just too much for a daily.

most likely at R+ its open fully and sport its open at higher rpm and comfort stays closed. Least thats how the Golf R works. But at R+ you'll also get the full volume of fake engine noise from the stereo.

Don't think its a huge deal. I'm on the N subreddit and have yet to see an issue.
