I totaly agree with you! This is why I think is more a marketing stunt more than anything else. Type R target market are hot headed, driven by passion. It will trigger urgency for many.

as many have pointed out, age is not a factor. For me, having a Type R is a dream that I want to materialize, regardless of my age. This machine can provide 80% of what expensive sport cars can provide for a fraction of the price. To me this is what matters.

Tuner have done 370HP with a conservative setup. Ariel Atom has a 350HP K20C setup (https://www.arielna.com/arielatom/#). If Honda wants to end the gasoline era with a bang and crush the Ring record, I guess 350hp is a minimum.
