  1. Thoughts on the Milltek vs AWE exhaust ??

You can see the factory valve settings here: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/there%E2%80%99s-a-reason-honda-made-active-exhaust-don%E2%80%99t-disable.53334/post-887033 In short the valve controller doesnt really do anything factory settings cant do. If you drive in comfort the valve will...
  2. Thoughts on the Milltek vs AWE exhaust ??

I actually bought the exhaust from 02Silver above and have played around the resonator vs non res setup. After learning how the factory valve setup works Ive kept it in the non-res setup ever since as the overrun crackles sound the best. When driving in comfort mode it will keep the valve...
  3. Where’s the Aero?

They posted the CFD and design specs on their FB and Instagram. The kit provides double the downforce with only 3% more drag. Its still not outputting Time attack levels of downforce but a lot of engineering and thought went into optimizing it. Stuff like this is more style over substance...
  4. Where’s the Aero?

If I had $7k to frivolously blow I know what I'd be doing with it... What an amazing looking kit.
  5. Brake pads ?

There was some good info on the +20 pads here fyi: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/2020-brake-pad-material.60422/
  6. Brake Creak and Groan at very slow speed

Im not sure what creaking and groaning means but the factory pads can squeal as you slow down to a stop at slower speed. Ill typically hear it around 5-10mph as Im slowing down in parking lots like you said. The pads are on the aggressive side for a stock system so some noise is to be expected.
  7. Road noise

I have 18's so the larger sidewall may also help but I have Falken RT615K+
  8. Road noise

Yea the stock tires are definitely a huge contributor. As soon as I swapped them out it did make a good bit a difference on the road noise and interior noise.
  9. WORK USA DEALERS

I have not purchased wheels exactly from these places but I have used Evasive and JHP plenty of times and they both have been great and seamless to work with.
  10. Cobb Tuning Accessport FL5 support starts 8/5/24

Thanks for the response! Looking forward to some of the other pro-tune options and additional maps. That definitely makes it easier to part with the money knowing more and better iterations are to come.
  11. Cobb Tuning Accessport FL5 support starts 8/5/24

Are there further plans to improve the stock car tune to closer match some of the other options like Two-Steps and Phearable? Are there limits in fuel pump control or emissions requirements that limit the adjustments you can make? It seems there a lot left of the table compared to some of the...
  12. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Superspeed RF03RR. Similar style wheel to CE28 and Advan but I didn't want to pony up the bucks. https://store.superspeedwheels.com/products/flowform_rf03_gm?variant=39511151509662
  13. Anyone else running a dual resonator delete on the FL5?

Comfort vs Sport/R has different valve settings for the exhaust so it does indeed make a significant difference. For example Im running the Miltek without a resonator and at highway speed there is some drone with the valve in Sport/R. As soon as I put it on comfort the valve closes and it's...
  14. Swift vs Eibach Pro-Kit

I got them in mid or end of January. I made sure it was the FL5 updated part number.
  15. Swift vs Eibach Pro-Kit

No if you get the updated FL5 springs it actually has a slight rake with the front a tiny bit lower than the back.
  16. -2.0 rear camber after pro kit install.

As long as toe is set near 0 you will have no issues. No camber kit is needed unless you want to correct for peace of mind, or want to target a specific value for a track setup.
  17. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

No, just have the front maxed out with the strut pins pulled. Alignment shows -1.8 front and -2 back.
  18. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Im running 18x9.5 +38 on 265/35 Azenis right now with Swift Springs. Won't have any issues at all, fits perfect.
