We don't have a Red Hatchback MT option. Just Black, Sonic Gray, and Platinum White Pearl in the states. Red only comes in the CVT option for the hatch.

Mine was $500 down refundable if I don’t want to wait on getting the car. Waiting on it to be accepted for build and then delivery. I drove an automatic, but getting the car I want. Sport touring manual in black. I’m a tech nerd and the upgrades from this gen are what I like.

Makes sense entirely. My local dealer in Ohio has been waiting for 3 months since they put a request in for one. Trying to get one myself with them, so hopefully they can get one in.

That’s a heck of a deal!!! Random side question: Have you seen at your dealer the Smokey muave pearl color at all? Not to hijack a thread, but I’ve been trying to find real photos of that color and come up short on my searches besides press photos in that color.

I thought the dome light had on, door, and off options. At least mine does on my 10th gen.

I wasn't aware extending a lease was a thing either. I'm entertaining the thought of trading in for a new lease, but still in the research phase at this time. OP: great write up on this!
