Hyundai's current 5N and upcoming 6N have established the bench mark for such fake ICE and fake manual can be fun. The last hurdle for EV to be spots car-like fun is battery weight. Hopefully that too will be overcome within the next 5 years. 🤞
I test drove a new GRC couple months back while cross shopping. I came away very disappointed. The interior feels really cheap (probably because it is). Its sitting position is almost like that of a truck. Notably gutless until the rev gets up above 4k RPM. The clutch is quite heavily...
Ugh! If only the ITS came with CTR's front seats and "race" gauge display. In some ways I feel like they are charging more while giving less on the things I want / find important. Its $7k up charge over CTR is so ridiculous that it's only justifiable by CTR's dealer ADM... sigh
Thanks Matt. I am looking for a low milage model since I, myself, will only drive it 3-4k miles a year (I WFH and live close to everything - it seems like half of all my driving is on Mt Lemmon lol). Therefore a car with, say, 10k miles would *feel like an older car to me. I also like to take...
Sorry to threadjack... but I am looking of a low milage (sub 5k) '24 or '25 CTR in white or red, if any of you are looking to sell. I am located in Tucson, AZ.
I wouldn't excuse the rev hang as a modern standard. Many if not most modern manual cars don't have rev hang. These are just the ones I have driven that don't have rev hang: Corvette (C7), Veloster N, Miata (ND), M2 (F87), 911/Cayman, Emira, etc.
I do suspect Honda did it purposely because...
I imagine many of the private sellers were early adopters that had to fight through hell and/or paid upward of $50k to $70k to get theirs. So I understand their reluctance to sell theirs at a price that is reflective of current new car prices. I will just have to be patient for the right one...
This thread is very helpful to me getting a sense of its relative used market value. I am currently looking for a very lightly used FL5 CTR in red or white. Looking for used because I want to take advantage of my home state's tax policy in that its normal 8.7% rate is exempted on used car...
I am looking for a CTR to replace my current ND2 Miata. Before diving heads first into getting a new one, I like to see if there are any near new ones with low milage for sale here. Please post or reach out if you have one either in red or white for sale.
Cheers
Ben
