Thanks for the reply. So they come already bed-in? No stop and go procedures when I put them in?
Also Castro SRF is already sitting in the garage waiting to be put in!
Hi all,
I made a thread regarding Paragon P3's but luckily they haven't shipped yet because I might cancel after looking into the EBC SR-11. They seem to have unparalleled longevity and barely require a bed-in process. However I do have some questions:
Is there are anyone using these as a dual...
I see, so it's not really a matter of breaking in the new pads the right way because the surface is brand new, but rather to get the pads and rotors to have an optimal layer in between for performance use?
Thanks for the clarification. Regarding the second part, I guess I'll try to do some bed-in at night so I don't have to come to complete stops and can just do U-turns in the middle of our roads. But when can I use my e-brake? I park on an incline and I hate letting the car rest on the transmission.
Thanks for the info.
I do plan on going to my first track day later this year. I bought P3's because I know I am an amateur and probably don't need more. But I want them to get installed soon because even just canyon driving glazed my pads considerably and I don't consider myself to be that...
Hi all, I'm not the most mechanically-inclined so bear with me.
I ordered P3 pads all around with shims for the front -- and I'm just now looking at the bed-in process after buying them (shame on me). I'm taking a look at this link and... is this process practically not achievable on public...
Hi all,
I'm re-bumping this thread because I'm at a total loss currently and am not sure what to do, and I'm hoping someone more mechanically-inclined can help.
The issue is not subsiding at all. If anything it has gotten worse. About 3k miles ago I had the wheels off for a tire rotation and...
The only place I can find the resonated version with the tips I'm looking for is on Dream Automotive's website (probably because it's a European brand). They actually have a massive -20% off Remus deal, taking off $453.40 but then there's $630 dollar shipping.
Is this the best I can get? I...
It's starting to piss me off now.
Every time I go on a backroad cruise or canyon run, I gotta pull over and shake the rotor shield so the rocks drop. Sometimes multiple times a drive. It's so inconvenient. They aren't actual whole pebbles like what some people have gotten, it's always small...
