Problem is, where I live, the Mk7 Golf R had AMV on it. I could never find one for MSRP, even the dealer I bought my Mk7 GTI from wouldn't budge. And that's before crazy times.
I can't believe that there aren't more of you crying foul on this car! I have a huge issue with the Integra name coming back.
As a mid-40's car guy, I very well remember Acura of old. I owned a 1991 Integra 3 door, 1992 Acura Vigor, 1995 Acura Legend 6MT, 1997 Acura Integra 3 door, then later...
They should redo the test with this Corolla, it has the 2.0, 6MT and a 747 wing on it: https://www.automember.com/used-2020-TOYOTA-COROLLA-SE-leesburg-virginia-20176/vd/312994
I had a Mk7 2016 GTI.
Loved leasing it. Excellent driving car.
Everything about long-term ownership concerns is correct. Mine needed the sunroof assembly fixed several times then replaced entirely, and the DSG developed a failed internal bearing at 20K miles. I turned it in on lease end and...
So, are all of the reviews that test 0-60, showing the GenXI to be significantly slower, by around a full sec, than a GenX incorrect? Or were they inadvertently testing a 2.0NA car?
Because if the difference between the base tune of the GenX and GenXI is as significant as the reviews are...
Are you like the biggest guy in the bar when you say how you really feel? Or you just this way online?
The only car that deserves that kind of harsh criticism is the Nissan Altima. The poor Corolla was stuck with hubcaps, 4 doors and beige paint for 30 years and is now just "coming out", it's...
In late 2019 we went shopping for either a Civic Sport HB or Corolla HB. My wife preferred the Corolla because it was less radical and a good deal smaller. At that time, the then-new Corolla HB did seem nicer (to us) than the 10G Civic, although I liked the Sport HB for different reasons (hate...
"Back in the day", you could get Prelude Si and Civic del Sol Si in automatic.
Seeing as how Honda has only seen fit to equip the Civics with CVTs, it's probably best the Si is MT only.
Ever since the 10Gen was revealed, I have been saying the Si should use the Accord 2.0T engine, they could...
I get that you are talking about a value/content proposition.
I'm just counterpointing that the WRX is significantly quicker overall, AND has the benefit of AWD.
Generally, Civic Si only clears the 1/4 at 93mph, the WRX is about 99mph, which would put it several car lengths ahead in any kind...
To me, this is not a good example, the WRX comes with AWD and much more power.
Better to compare to the Korean FWD semi-sporty cars, or just say that not even Nissan or Toyota have such a nice car with equivalent sportiness.
Y'all calling the hatch exhaust vents fake LOL!!!
There's actually exhaust tips venting through them.
Wanna see fake? Look at the "exhaust vents" on our 2020 Corolla HB... those are actually fake!
This is the irony of being "green".
Either through legislation that kills jobs in countries with environmental policies in place, or misled goals of adopting EV cars in a place with dirty electricity...
You find that we just end up making the Earth dirtier overall. But, hey, not happening in...
Well, the great news for all of you current Gen 10 owners is that there's no reason for you to blow your money on a Gen 11 Civic. Since they are so ugly, and likely to not be mechanically very different, you can spend your money on other things.
My point originally was to point out the "fanboism" of many of the negative comments towards the appearance of the Gen 11.
Most of us are ported over from the CivicX forums, and most of them are obviously appreciative of the style of their Gen 10 car and like it more than the Gen 11 car, so the...
I agree with you, it is unique to itself. Specifically, I think the headlight/grill area is very unique and it seems Honda tried to retain that for the current Accord and the new Civic (toned down but looks related).
One thing I really agree upon is the rear end absolutely looks like a Jetta...
