Just seems like they were asleep at the wheel with this design, mainly the exterior.
Just, so, basic and seen-it-before styling. I really hope they make it more exciting some how for the SI!!
It reminds me a lot of the 8th to 9th generation transition. Honda tried to use the same language "simplified design", "clean modern look" It's just cover language for bland uninspired styling. I'm pretty disappointed as well. It looks like a rental car already.
We're lucky there is still a Civic coupe and a manual transmission at all. We should be grateful. A lot of companies don't make cars at all any more.
