There really is not a lot to say here… Excellent condition 2023 Sonic Gray Civic Type R with 4600 miles. Located in the Chicago area in IL.
Stock with no modifications. No accidents, never smoked in, garaged every single night since brought home. Driven by an adult.
Only things done to it are...
Swapped from oem wheel/tire set to my winter setup yesterday - Continental VikingContact 7 (245/40R18) mounted on Voxx Lago 18x8 wheels.
I don't know if it's in my head, but immediately jumping in the car and driving, it feels like the steering wheel is 'easier' to turn and may require more...
Appreciate the open minded and informed responses so far.
Every comparison of both cars I've viewed where the reviewers have chosen the R over the N have done so by a very, very, very slim margin. They use language like "...the Type R just feels. special..." or "...it makes me feel like I'm...
Type R is always compared to the Elantra N. Even one of the TheStraightPipes guys said he'd pick the N over the R. When he was questioned about the choice, his response was "Have you driven it...?"

This may not be the right thread for this...
Out of curiosity, for those of you who financed your Type R purchase, what kind of interest rates did you get with excellent credit (>780)? Did you use a traditional big bank or credit union? Honda Financial Services? If you used HFS, what rate did...

I have an Elantra N I’d consider trading in; if they gimme a decent offer. It’d also minimize sales tax. If they can’t provide a good offer, I’ll sell to carmax, or vroom…
Not yet. Why?
I exchanged emails with a SA a few weeks back when they had a CW and BB available. They seemed pretty entrenched on their ADM at the time.
