I have a question for those with 19 x10 +40… I see in most pics, the front wheel sticks out from the fender.… poking out literally outside of the fender. I want to stick with 19”… but the extra width over 9.5” and the offset how will this NOT rub?

100% GET IT. It’s reversible in any case, but once you have it you’ll freakin love it. I have it in our fl5 along with the bushings. Our fk8 just has the bushings and they hardly do anything without the rest of the shifter. So yes… it’s greatness. It takes the great factory shifter to the next...

Another vote for McGard. I‘ve been using them for over 20 years… first my 02 wrx, then my 06 STi, which I had from 20 years, our fk8 has had them since 2019, and I’ll get another set for the fl5 when I get wheels.

I stumbled upon these and the price seemed, not too bad if the tropes hold true about carbon ceramics... super long wear life, exceeding maybe 2-3 or more times the wear and cost of as many sets of steel rotors? Not to mention weight savings... Intriguing, but admittedly I never ever once...

I wonder if there’s a way for them to do a gated shifter plate….???
