The seats are the only things that I think are worse in this than in my previous car, a 2011 Si. The lumbar support and side-bolstering are less prominent and the foam density and resilience seems lower in the seat and back.
Can’t have it all, I guess.
Is the checkbox for ‘sport button boost’ in the above torque table image an indication that one could set up the calibration to only be applied in sport mode? In other words, ‘normal’ (and ‘individual’, I guess) would retain the stock ecu settings?
Put a deposit down in mid-November with a build date Christmas week, which was subsequently pushed back to early February. It actually got built ‘early’ but then sat in a rail yard 40 miles from its destination for 2 weeks before showing up at the dealer a couple days ago.

They apply a correction factor to approximate crank horsepower.
Yes, it ends up about 10% higher than a roller dyno, but they’re literally measuring different things.
And everyone who drives it is effusive in their praise of the chassis. If they’re achieving more chassis solidity than VW at 200-300 lbs less, Honda deserves serious praise.
I don’t think they were saying it would be demanding for someone who already knows how to drive a manual, just that it’s not a car to learn on.
That sounds perfect for the target audience to me.
They have 10 ‘in stock’ as in on hand right now?
If so, there’s your answer. They’re getting the cars because they sell them. It’s the dealer’s fault that they’re assholes, yes, but it’s also the fault of the people eating their shit.
Uhhhh….
The 222hp figure is peak. The 167 is the data point they grabbed where the largest delta between untuned and tuned occurred. Look at the graphs, not just the datapoint readouts.
EDIT: You posted your correction above just as I was typing this! :)
Not taking a side, but just for reference, they added a bunch of suspension bits from the Type R (bushings, mostly, iirc), rev match, individual mode and the Bose audio, to name a few ‘new’ features.
Now, you or I can question the utility of some of these features and the intelligence of the...
This is important to remember.
People keep getting worked up over random YouTube videos that prove very little. Like a car full of three grown men and keyboard warriors are timing the 0-60.
That’s to say nothing of the fact that the Si has never been a comparatively fast car in 0-60 or 1/4...
