There's already multiple in California that have been allocated 2 and a few in Florida that have been allocated more than one. Some of the "smaller" dealers in the east side of the country seem to have been allocated a Type R
Just wait until regular shipments start arriving to the Northeast. They can sell at 10k+ ADM because there are still none out there and no other options... yet.
At the end of the day, it's a car and if you're using it to daily a few chips will happen. Since it's a driver a re-sprayed front end in 5-10 years won't be a big ding on the value.
@Tickle @citrus any idea if Honda is holding back allocations for the upper mid-west due to winter? I'm looking at below zero temps already and wondering if that's the case
With the turbo motors Honda went with the "worst case" ratings. Ie, hottest, most humid day, etc. BMW does the same and their engines are WAY underrated.
FL5 does have slightly taller final drive so it is probably negligible. Maybe it has improved traction control too.
Still nothing from my local dealer in SD. Probably won't be getting this first batch. Good thing I'm still waiting on my TLX-S order too...
