I'm not even mad about performance or whatever, but I don't want to lose heated seats or all the cupholder/console space that is essential on long drives.
From my 2020 Si, I'm gonna move on to the GR86 premium or whichever Integra trim gets two of the three: bigger engine/manual/AWD
Extra powerful and sporty trims of a luxury car (Integra) are going be more broadly appealing than the all-sportiness stripped down (relative to a luxury brand car) pinnacle-of-FWD Type R offering.
some will cross shop but I doubt they will cannibalize each other that much. The Integra will do...
Totally fair, from the broad view I can see the Integra having a much broader sales base just due to the 4 (5?) doors.
But I feel like I can't be that rare of a customer looking for these parameters:
* Sporty-ish
* Japanese reliability (this takes GTI out of the equation)
* More power than a...
With the rev hang, the manuals aren't even so much fun anymore they take so much concentration to shift properly and quickly without either slipping the clutch or hitting a big herky jerk movement every time. I love my Si but sometimes shifting it through 1-2-3 positively pisses me off.
I know...
I have looked at a fair amount of quotes and you won't get the Turbo with AWD for $30k in this market - probably $33k minimum.
It is a great-looking car in both sedan and hatchback though I have heard it's more "nice and premium" feel more than "snappy/stiff and sporty" both in the...
Modern Steel Metallic was what I wanted on my 10th gen Si but couldn’t find it anywhere near.
Is it fully gone? Does the Si ever have colors that aren’t on the other models?
Rear view of hatch has weird droopy curves with very little in the way of sharp angles. They should have taken more of the sharper-angled design language from the sedan. Hatch sort of invokes the 10th gen lobster-claw-esque taillights but in a lame, completely neutered way.
Looks much less...
I was a huge Lunar Silver Metallic fan myself, but moreso with the 10th gen where it went great with the black trim. It kind looks like any other car this gen.
Will probably go Sonic Grey if I have the option
Whatever this rear end is has me getting curious about a Veloster N as an an alternative and there's none for sale within 1000 miles of me, me new or used
I largely agree with @HawaiiPunch but making it significantly slower from one generation to the next seems stupid no matter which trim we’re talking about.
if the Si doesn’t get at least a little faster that will be a brutal miss on Honda’s part
Hmm. Thought the hatch back might look more interesting in a sporty way than the sedan back.
This looks more interesting in a kind of goofy, bubbly/curvy-lined way. Looks like the Dodge Dart.
Not a big fan. But will be really hard to tell until we see the whole car.
As someone who generally likes the more toned-down looks of the 11th gen and will almost certainly be upgrading to the 11th gen Si, my main impressions looks-wise are:
1. those wheels are damn ugly, would love to swap to the touring wheels with someone. Or just do what I really want to do and...
