Pedestrian, mainstream, tomato tomahto. My point is a CIvic hybrid can be had at a lower MSRP, is generally faster, more fuel efficient, can be had with more equipment and probably sells at a 20:1 ratio against the SI.
The SI hasn't lived up to its "mission" since the 8th gen 2.0 SI was...
Ok, I'll email you a cookie. 1.5t is dead in every CIvic except the SI and Integra. And your "google serach" just proved everything I basically said in my previous post. the 1.5t was barely any slower than the SI, the Hybrid is either faster or even with the SI but gets way better mpg, the Type...
Ya'll have way more faith in Honda than I do. Honda has made questionable decisions in the last decade or so that make me skeptical about the direction of the brand. Losing millions of dollars in the last year or so aint helping. lol.
The current CIvic is in its 5th year of production and will...
It would be an e-cvt, not a "CVT" also Honda has built SI or SI equivilent models with automatics before: CIvic RS, Prelude SI. If Honda can take the Prelude, its flagship coupe and make it a hybrid with an e-cvt, offer no manual, no 1.5t or 2.0t , I would not be surprised if they do the same...
i bet a next generation SI and updated Integra A-spec will return next year: They'll just be hybrids with e-cvts. Honda has been slowly phasing out the 1.5t in the CIvics for a while now and eventually I think the 1.5t will be replaced by the hybrid in the ADX and just come standard in Accords...

-Sport retains the 2.0L base engine
-LX is dead (as expected it seems)
-Sport is base trim, EX-L and Sport Touring remain as well.
-6MT remains available for the Sport and Sport Touring
-Boost Blue is added to the Sport Touring manual color choices...
And yet all these other automakers are managing to make cars that are faster, with more power and bigger base engines w/turbos.
I'm tired of the excuses.
Saw and drove this one today at the LA Autoshow...first time seeing the hatch in person and its nicer in person than in pics...looking forward to seeing the Integra tomorrow
