I know that savagegeese and others have valid points that Honda wanted to make the CTR the more hardcore version and the Integra S the softer one. It seems like a loss because the fk8 split the two, and had the best of both worlds. Likely the integra S will be heavier and too soft (hopefully...
I know this has already been mentioned, but the Fk8 has a suspension that is not as stiff in Sport mode and even softer in comfort, yet appears to have 99% of the handling benefits of the FL5 with better steering feel as noted by some reviewers.
Maybe honda needed to make the car stiffer...
For me, I think the apparent reduction in steering feel, larger size of the car, slightly heavier, mild tram lining due to the 265 tires, outweigh the interior improvements. The mentions of the decreased rear stability by a number of reviewers that makes the car more fun or interesting, is a...
I guess an extra 67 pounds isn't too bad. I had a BRZ before the fk8 and loved the lightweight feel of it. Removing rear seats and adding the lighter wheels gets closer to that feel, it is hard to stomach adding an extra 67 pounds though going from the fk8 to the Fl5.
@crash___ do you see the weight listed anywhere on the Monroney label or paperwork? Honda lists the car as 3,118 lbs on the specs, but I'm not sure if it is a typo.
Hey all, looking for a Civic EX sedan or hatchback. Willing to wait but curious if anyone can recommend dealers only charging msrp in the Texas area? I'd maybe be willing to do $400 for window tint. Any recommendations are much appreciated!
Does anyone have insight on when these will be for sale? I have a friend with a hail damaged totaled car, insurance will let him drive it until he finds a new car, but not sure how patient they'll be.
