We have an 11th and a 10th gen and I had a 10th gen accord before my hatch. The biggest thing I notice is the 11th gen is a lot less lazy about increasing speed. Say you're on a 2 lane highway and pull out from behind someone that's going slower than your set speed. The 11th says OK LETS GO...
Looks good - nice to see the bronze on the Boost Blue. I've been leaning towards that after the winter wheels come off next spring. What's the offset of those wheels?
You have a link for where you got the forged carbon or was it a custom job? Did you do the door panels as well? Looks WAY better than any of the carbon fiber weave vinyl.
Sensors and comptuers - they will correct within a certain range. It's why you can run something like a civic SI on 87 instead of 91, and it doesn't blow the pistons out.
Depending on the features that matter to you an Integra might be an option. Since you're not looking for a manual you're not boxed into the most expensive trim. Hondata did a chassis dyno run of the Integra and got 236 HP to the hub dyno for a baseline.
Just a thought. Coming as a lifetime...
Depends on if they use the same dual axis front suspension that the FK8 has. Which necessitated different fenders and front bumpers as well due to the wider track.
Is there going to be an option to retain the trim rings? Similar to what Borla did for the Accord 2.0T Sport exhuast. Don't care for the look with the trim removed and the pipes sticking through on the ST.
(I missed that it was tagged SI -but still would like the info.)
Doubt that will happen. This gen, they aligned the engines between the sedan and hatch line. If anything it would happen in the mid-cycle which will be in 2 to 3 years typically.
I have one in the center console that sounds deep and another one coming from the passenger side I was able to track down on a joy ride with a passenger to the vent op of the dash by the A-Pillar - specifically the outer portion of the vent. I'm going to get them addressed on my first oil change.
When I'm doing a run and the wife is sitting in the car I usually drop the keys in the cup holder or toss them to her. Mildly annoying but between her '21 hatch and my '22 it's second nature now.
Where did you get the info on what the speakers are? Are there Honda part numbers on them or something? Coming from my 10th Gen Accord Sport and into my ST with the Bose system it's a world of difference to my ears.
