Damn they ruined the interior by adding that red accent strip around the honey comb grill, it really cheapens the entire look.
Hope they don’t pull that on the R
It’ll most likely be Honda’s last ICE CTR, and everybody will be FOMOin hard.
Good news for people who are into the X gen, prices will most likely drop.
Did anyone else notice how the piano black trim (around the honey comb grill) has been replaced with a matte looking piece instead? Seems like the console trim (around the shifter) is different as well.
Interesting, I like how they’ve toned down the red on this interior.
Although it does feel a little basic, hopefully the plaque will be added on the production model.
A lot of people seem to forget that the hatch door is made out of plastic, and that’s the only spot they’ve reinforced with metal to withstand the downforce a wing would create.
That’s why you can’t change the mounting position on a hatch.
People who say that the craziness was always a part of the Type R, must've gotten into the brand with the FK8 (or FK2).
The 11th gen design is very well received in Japan, at least based on the comments I've read so far.
It was designed by Honda Japan, and is reminiscent of the best Civic (EG...
They do, but the interior and all the amenities are def. a step down from what we get in the new civic. The 86/BRZ is built for one purpose only, and that’s having fun driving it.
Holy shit this looks even better in motion. Gone are the glued on, after market looking rear fenders of the X gen (which pretty much looked like an afterthought).
We’re finally getting R-specific, sculptured fender lines making the car look much more upscale.
Lower roof lines, wider stance in...
Disagree. I really don't like it when JDM manufac. use fat, painted plastic stands for the wing. Look at the GT3, C63 BS, M3 GTS, etc.
They all have skinny metal stands (like the 11th gen here), which makes the car look way more upscale than the fat ones from the X gen.
It's utilitarian and I...
Depends on which corner you’re talking about. A longer wheelbase has its advantages as well, such as stability. Besides, anything can influence the time on the ring. Look at the new 992 GT3, it gained so much time through its new suspension setup. I’m sure honda has figured out a way to squeeze...
I can guarantee it’ll outperform the fk8 on the ring. It’s literally been hondas thing to develop a faster car (for the ring) every generation.
Like, why would they even tease about testing it on the ring if they weren’t confident about its performance…
