  1. Aftermarket Stereo Using Factory Head Unit - Anyone Else Going This Route?

I haven't worked with them, the sound profile will be different but if it meets your needs better. I'd research how they sound, what's recommended with them, and see if its what you're looking for your in your setup. Anything that adds bass is worth it.
  2. Help with improving handling

Honestly wouldn't touch toe or camber unless they're not aligned (You've been in a wreck, hit a pothole hard, upgraded camber kit or toe arm, etc...). Even an alignment would be a bit much until you throw on a camber kit and toe arms for better adjustment as it's more of a daily that goes fast...
  3. Help with improving handling

No. From my understanding the camber from the springs is 2% or less which is negligible. If it changed toe, I'd be more inclined, but a slight camber won't hurt. You will need to rotate your tires more because of wear but that's about it. If you want adjustable camber then I'd get the kit. I...
  4. Help with improving handling

Tires and road conditions will effect this the most. There is also now an open recall on the steering components to most Civic models. Upgrade your tires, maybe toss on some suspension upgrades, and you should see some improvement to the vibrations. You can also add some sound deadening to your...
  5. Help with improving handling

There are a number of things you can do to improve your stability at higher speeds. Coils that lower your car will improve your stability because you'll have a lower center of gravity. I recommend installing springs, the Sport has adjusting shocks similar to the Type R (Sport mode) which change...
  6. How loud is your Civic?

I'd like to note, although my car is quiet, that's because I tossed on some Continental Pros, and totally sound deadened my car to accommodate the full stereo upgrade I installed. My car stock, there was a lot of small rattling that was mostly in the B pillar, road noise from the floor/doors...
  7. What did you do to your CivicXI today??

Let me know how it goes. I'm looking at Remark but worried about droning so springs first for my car before exhaust. Still have to finish my one step clear correction and prep for full ceramic, been waiting for the weather to lift a bit as I don't have a garage, but the clay bar makes a massive...
  8. Aftermarket Stereo Using Factory Head Unit - Anyone Else Going This Route?

I believe this is what I used. Without pulling my cover off the head unit and looking I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. All of my wiring was together and the image attached I think was the correct one for the Sport/LX and should be similar to the EX+ (Depends on if you have a Hatch or...
  9. Aftermarket Stereo Using Factory Head Unit - Anyone Else Going This Route?

Actually, there is no sub channels on the non Bose system. Front driver is ch 1, front pass is ch2, ch3 and ch4 are the rear. Use auto sum from ch3/4 to create the sub signal then feed into AMP that way. You'll need to run separate wiring for the new speakers as the OEM is really low end. Make...
  10. Aftermarket Stereo Using Factory Head Unit - Anyone Else Going This Route?

130A Alternator and the battery is fine enough. I think up to 1200W RMS before you'd want to consider a big 3 upgrade. Most never throw a full sine wave through their systems and you might draw 20A on average, peak 40A or so.
  11. Aftermarket Stereo Using Factory Head Unit - Anyone Else Going This Route?

4 channels total, 4 speakers and 4 tweeters for a total of 8, and so the LC7i is more than enough. Works great so far.
  12. Aftermarket Stereo Using Factory Head Unit - Anyone Else Going This Route?

Update - Half way done sound treating. Swapped factory speakers with some Kicker coaxial speakers which made a massive difference on their own. The sound treatment has only improved that. Doors for now, I have enough material to do the trunk and floors, possibly even roof if I want to go all...
  13. What did you do to your CivicXI today??

Front strut tower support, front end links, rear sway bar and end links all done. Way better handling. Door Visors and trunk tray were some of the very first items. So worth.
  14. What did you do to your CivicXI today??

Vivid wraps on Amazon, did it myself, so not perfect but a hell of a lot better than the fiber carbon or piano black. I haven't done the door panels, haven't decided yet if I will or not, but what I have done is definitely worth. VViViD® Black Forged Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap Roll with Air...
  15. What did you do to your CivicXI today??

Ugh... Honda should have done full LED from the get go. New LED rear turn signal and reverse lights are great, as well as the interior light, and the install was pretty easy (Stupid plastic clips on the outer lamp covers break easy, just FYI).
  16. What did you do to your CivicXI today??

Update time; Finally vinyl wrapped all that nasty gloss black interior trim with forged carbon, fits the theme of my car, and yet its still pretty minimal and not in your face. I also did a satin black vinyl on the front to bring out more of the black in front of the car as half of the front...
  17. What did you do to your CivicXI today??

I should do a full light upgrade, the factory shows through my tint really well, but I don't want state patrol to doubt me at all (WA requires that lights be visible from 500ft away and that the light isn't directly impeded, so no batman signals, but almost anything transparent works).
  18. HPD spoiler INSTALL on 2022 CIVIC HATCHBACK - DIY writeup & pics

I didn't have any issues and did use them, standard M6, and they fit through the holes but it was a close fit (Likely done on purpose). I'd assume if yours are M6 that they should fit but worst case scenario use the included.
  19. HPD spoiler INSTALL on 2022 CIVIC HATCHBACK - DIY writeup & pics

Spoiler Installed. Wish I had better pics but here's what I do have. I did vinyl wrap the arms (HPD Stickers are very stretchy but came off pretty easily).
  20. HPD spoiler INSTALL on 2022 CIVIC HATCHBACK - DIY writeup & pics

So, finished installing mine last night. You may have fitment issues with the metal struts that make up the structure of the spoiler arms. They have circular domes on them where the screws pass through to secure them down, and adhesive to seal it in place once it is positioned. So there's a...
