I just did my first track with the Si. I got the similar setup as the OP (including the RBF660). The pads give me a lot of confidence braking from high speed (from 160 km/h down to ~60 km/h on the main straight). i dont feel the need for the brake ducts yet as i need to learn how to push the car...
Oh hi funny seeing you here as well lol.
So I can use the carbotech xp10 without any modifications right?
I might have to get some custom SS brake lines if there are no OTS ones out.
fan of your videos and keep it up.
Sorry if this question seems redundant. So what is current setup right now?
I am looking for a pretty reliable/goodbrake pads for my first track day next month. I have seen a guy on YouTube that runs the carbotech xp10. Also looking to upgrade brake lines.
It's the rather fast expanding and contracting of the materials due to temperature changes. Expansion and shrinkage of materials affect the fit and tolerances against other parts that's why you hear it. Tolerances/fitment of parts could be better.
Thankfully i have not heard any on my Si.
Looks good my guy!
I have a similar setup except my rpf1's are 18x9.5 +38 and I am on lowering springs.
The only question I have is what kind of front lips are you rocking?
cheers!
What I like about the 11th gen interior (controls, Infotainment etc) is they make sense, not complicated to navigate and very simple. The only thing that I want them to add is a shortcut to the Rev Matching option.
