When I first noticed I am about to strip them, I used a bigger Philips head and managed to get them out...
Once out I never put them back in... got these off amazon with some plastic washers to ensure nothing rust

i think if you guys waited this long might as well wait till the fl5 ends production officially and rumor the new gen.... if you think about it in this thread there are maybe 10 ppl max still waiting most of us on this thread got their cars by now ... so hopefully you would get yours soon and...
i appreciate your honest opinion, it helps too hear others, personally when i owned 90s cars i always replaced oil ever 3k kms but this CTR is my 2nd brand new car and I might be over thinking that initial oil from factory
yeah issues arising from oil changes don't typically show until well over 100k miles or during an engine tear down ... but i am just thinking am i losing out on any benefits from the fill oil that is meant to be there longer than usual to work through... but after that change it frequently every...
I guess what I am saying is if I keep the fill oil until the MM says to replace oil, I am letting the additives do its job by working through the engine (if that means 10k miles for some or 17k miles for others) based on driving conditions and the algorithm. by taking it out early i am losing...
so i read through this entire thread, and i think the question i wanna ask is that... is there harm in changing oil before MM ... maybe not at the lower end say at 900 miles flush out the fill oil, but let's say 3 or 4k and oil life says anywhere between 80-60% .... is there harm in taking out...
i keep laughing at the boost blue one, still posted for 89k ...1 year laaayyytaer... just the hassle to get the BB across the border is a PITA.... same with a few dealerships around me in the 70s... let em sit... they flipped way too early most of us that want the R, want it new ... those that...
met a Woodbridge Honda sales manager at the gym the other day, today he texted me saying sgp fl5 just got there asked him if it's sold he said months ago ! but just posting here in case that sale falls through and someone could grab it
how did you find the 62a on the track... fan of your channel, just wondering if you continue to build and add more power in the future how is the 62a going to hold... also if one were to replace the other 2 mounts (upper and lower)... would mixing and matching be ok say doing 62a and 70 since...
which hasport are you referring to, 70? 80? compared to the prl one... does prl make the other two mounts... what if later on one wanted to replace the upper and lower MM ... would mixing and matching between prl and hasport RMM and the other two be ok
I agree, and I have been keeping an eye on some of the "used" FL5s going for low to mid 70s ... they are still sitting there not sold and I hope they stay that way and force dealers to start coming down... the US already came down... there has been a number of new FL5s there going for MSRP
Yeah although my dealer is fairly small because small city (Thunder Bay) they still sold it to me when I am not local and out of town... It comes down to building that relationship with the dealership and how the dealership is to begin with, if they have integrity and they are decent human...
congrats man that's crazy how quick you can go from losing hope of getting FL5 to being asked to come get the car....for those still waiting hang in there you can see many of us picked up their cars and we were all in the same waiting boat
I feel you... if you can forget about the deposit I would say just keep it with them and forget it about it.. and move on... if it comes then all the better even if you decide to get ITS this Spring... you can always sell/trade for TypeR if and when it comes
any news for those still waiting on delivery ... keeping you in our prayers.... I have a feeling Canada might get one more load around spring and the numbers say that would be it... we're getting close to our quota for the year ... and then it's 2025 cars... hope everyone waiting get theirs...
mine sleeps in the garage, when i go to work is underground access only garage.... the only time it starts out for doing quick runs sometimes... usually our other car but if i do happen to do a quick run with it .. it's been fine...i so need to locate the fuel relay and may be take that off of i...
the gap in the panel seems to be a design choice.. it's consistent on every car... a misalignment gap in manufacturing tends to be in the bumper hood fender area which the fl5 has been solid with but the ITS had suffered from, a hit and miss...
the condensation in the tail light is not right...
