Hey fellow Hoosier, thanks! Mine was the first one sold at the dealership, so I'd say these will be pretty rare around here for awhile. It's already gotten a lot of attention and several people coming up and asking questions. I don't mind the attention lol
Definitely. I got XPEL ceramic tint all the way around. 20% sides and rear, 55% on the windshield. The car is usually in my garage at home or parking garage at work though.
MSRP and good trade value. They gave me about $3k more than I was expecting which was a shock. Also purchased wheel and tire protection, paint less dent repair, and remote replacement. She offered it at about $2300 but I talked her down to $1k. All in, I paid about $55k.
Thanks! I wasnāt too sure on black, didnāt want to hide them hips! But itās really slick and glad I got the color, especially with the ceramic tint I got (20% all around, 55% windshield). Itās going to be a chore keeping it clean, but Iāll manage.
I have a 2022 Si, but recently test drove an FK8 and noticed how much heavier the clutch is (assuming it wasnāt aftermarket). I liked the clutch feel in the Type R much more than my Si and felt easier to drive in my opinion.
The only reason Iām even mentioning this is because Iāve become quite...
Reverse is hard for me too. I've actually got the shift "stuck" trying to get into reverse. That was a weird one.
I always just put it into 3rd real quick and it slides into reverse no issue. Also weird, but probably some reason behind that.
Yes, mine tends to crunch when cold until it gets warmed up a bit. I swapped to AC Delco Syncromesh, but it didn't fix it. I just shift really early into 2nd, or when needing to downshift into 2nd, I will double clutch and that makes it smooth. Mine has 7k miles, but your may just smooth out.
