  1. JSWAN Real Carbon Fiber Center Console

damn it, a day late for me haha. This looks like the way to go if you donā€™t want the red in the weave.
  2. JSWAN Real Carbon Fiber Center Console

I got the JSWAN in matte. It's not perfect - some small imperfections with the weave. It gets lost, though. It's good enough for me for the price - it looks better than the stock silver. At the end of the day, this is a Honda Civic. Couple of pictures with the red shift boot and arm rest...
  3. Rear Spoiler Color Match

    Mine was also only $200.
  4. Rear Spoiler Color Match

Itā€™s very easy to remove. Just 3 bolts on each side. I took it off and brought it to the paint shop.
  5. FL5 Type R Spoiler Painted Boost Blue

I went to Serra Collision in Rochester. I knew a guy there that hooked me up.
  6. Overland Designs Red Armrest & Shiftboot

Yeah, I remember reading on here that itā€™s apparently impossible to get ahold of the identical fabric thatā€™s in the car. This is not a 100% perfect match, but itā€™s pretty darn close, and itā€™s a higher quality material IMO.
  7. Overland Designs Red Armrest & Shiftboot

No problem! I'm now tempted to pull the door cards off and have all of the material replaced with red lol.
  8. Overland Designs Red Armrest & Shiftboot

I swapped it out. It was very easy. Just make sure you have a stapler - you need to staple the new boot to the mount - and also something you can use to pull the old staples out with. I just used a standard stapler, but I doubled up on the staples. You also need a zip tie to attach the boot to...
  9. Overland Designs Red Armrest & Shiftboot

Decided to go red with the shift boot and armrest from Overland. Top notch work.
  10. Newbie to the CTR ownership family.

$4k over is a very good deal considering the market. Most are going for $10k+ over. I was ecstatic to luck into $5k over myself I never thought I'd ever be someone to pay OVER MSRP but here we are. I think it's well worth it at <= $50k.
  11. ā–ŗ APEX | New Forged Sprint™ Line - Lightweight Motorsport Wheels For Your Civic Type-R

Just got mine today! They look really nice. Wonā€™t be on the car for a bit, yet, though.
  12. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Thanks!! Mind sharing a rough idea on the cost all in?
  13. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Oh wow šŸ˜! Where did you get it!?
  14. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Sounds like you bought just the boot then, not the boot with the mount they sell? How hard was the install?
  15. FL5 Type R Spoiler Painted Boost Blue

Absolutely! I just left the spoiler with them. 3 bolts on each side, comes off very easily. The car is still very drivable without the spoiler should you need to.
  16. FL5 Type R Spoiler Painted Boost Blue

Iā€™ve thought about doing the reverse of this and blacking out the sides with a custom vinyl graphic. I did that on my prior GT4. May be cool something similar with the Type R graphic on there.
  17. FL5 Type R Spoiler Painted Boost Blue

They only charged me $200. YMMV.
  18. I bloody love my new CTR

I came from a 981 GT4 and a Focus RS to the CTR to simplify my life a bit. GT4 is definitely a different car than a 911T, so I have a little different perspective but similar. The CTR is like a FWD version of the GT4 to me. Itā€™s the FWD car Porsche would make if they made a FWD 4banger...
  19. FL5 Type R Spoiler Painted Boost Blue

Fresh stack of photos post-wash today for those interested...
  20. Question about the rear diffuser on my FL5

My guess is it's painted gloss black. But as others have mentioned, it's a relatively inexpensive paint job from a shop. I paid $200 to have my spoiler sprayed.
