Buyer beware... I've bought several things from Autocannon recently and the quality and fit was terrible. They also have bad customer service IMO... insisted on waiting a full 14 business days to process my return after they had received it.
It's a shame because I really loved Max Boost when I...
That is complete BS! It was $756 until you changed it after calling you out. $400 for shipping and taxes is still criminal. You're still WAYYY overpriced compared to all your competition.
$756 for shipping to Colorado? Your competition is charging about 10% of that. Might want to look into that because I doubt anyone is going to order from your site with such outrageous shipping costs. Just my 2 cents tho.
An example...
AWE - $85 shipping
Unity - $55 shipping for the MBRP exhaust
Haha this is the biggest reason I don't want to get an aftermarket exhaust. I like to retain all my factory parts but storing this thing looks annoying.
I realize product development takes time, but they started the thread, I don’t think it’s crazy to expect them to respond people’s questions. If they didn’t want that responsibility they shouldn’t have made the announcement a year too early 🤷‍♂️
Sorry to hear this... but not really surprised since PRL doesn't have the best reputation for customer service (see the announcement thread for the HVI they ignored for months and months).
I really don't understand y'all... you bought a track focused car and are complaining it's not good for road trips or can go long enough without refueling. If having more range is important, then you bought the wrong car.
Not sure if you have any Acuity products, but they are top notch not only from a quality standpoint, but also have amazing customer service. If they are making an intake for the public, I'd wait too.
Knowing that you've upgraded your audio, this install should be a breeze for you. It took me like 15 minutes and I was taking my time, its incredibly easy.
You can get them for $215 at All Discount Parts and they are easy to install... I have them on my FL5, they aren't as nice as the Type S, but they still look better than nothing there at all. I certainly wouldn't call them tacky.
I'm sure they can, but I'd love to see them try and prove it. Unless you just go smooth brain and literally tell them you put oil in that wasn't to spec.
API certification or not I would not in the slightest be worried about using AMSOIL in your Honda engine. It's generally know as one of the top-rated synthetic oils on the market. I've been using it for over a decade in all my high performance vehicles with zero issues.
Also, best first mod in...
That's a big red flag, they started this thread and have completely ghosted it. I can certainly understand if they need more time for R&D, but just be transparent about it.
Anymore, I refuse to do business with these types of people. If I have to chase you around to give you money for a product...
I love the alcantara wheel, it's a nice upgrade from the stock one. Install is pretty easy, the hardest part for me was breaking loose the bolt holding it in (it's covered in thread locker). A large pry bar or torque wrench should help though.
I asked Overland to make me a custom boot that fit the Acuity collar. I just had one of the collars shipped directly to them because the bunching annoyed me with the first one I had. It looks great now! Makes sense though if you're new knob is designed to fit w/ the OEM one... paint should do.
Haha fair enough, keep the GT3. Awesome collection of cars. I will say this as an FL5 owner who also has an exotic and other higher end cars... the CTR is a fun car to drive, work on, etc... but I don't know if I'd trade down for one. GT4 is so much better in every way. Use the X5 for the future...
