Ibeas able to get it all installed but it looks like my seal leaking so ill have to order one and change it out. Might as well do the Trans fluid while I'm at it 🤦🏽‍♂️ I'm on an island with one Honda dealer and they don't have the seal in stock.
  2. DIY: FL5 Lowering Spring Install for Civic Type R [Step By Step]

This happened to me today, started on drivers side and I had the drive axle pop out, I can't figure out how to get enough space to mount the shock back in the knuckle without popping the drive axle out 😅
  3. Jester’s FL5 build journal.

None! Apex were awesome in assisting me with information via email before I made the purchase. I am on stock suspension but they did say I could run drop springs and still have to rubbing issues. Maybe next year I'll grab a set of springs to close that bit of wheel gap.
  4. Jester’s FL5 build journal.

Sweet wheels! I just put my set on, went with vs-5rs 18 x 10.5 et47. Tires choices are slim here on Guam in 285/35 r18. Ended up getting a good deal on Yokohama advan sport v105s. I went with Bronze and they look fantastic on my CBP FL5

  6. Driver side rattle/buzz around 4k RPM?

The only buzz or rattle I've had is from the rear view mirror trim piece.bprobably from putting my sunshade up. I just press on it and the rattle stops for like 3 weeks haha.
  7. Jester’s Hondata thread

Sounds like a plan @Jester04! I actually almost bought a turbo lol but I ordered wheels instead, since that'll be the only exterior mod haha. I'm a power mod junkie 😅 I'll be following along and hopefully by mid December I'll have the ecu back, unlocked with a hondata installed. I'll reach out...
  8. Jester’s Hondata thread

Sending my ecu off this week to be jailbroken. I live literally in the middle of the pacific so it's gonna be at least a week without my ecu even with FedEx. Getting a hondata mini as well. Id be interested in getting tuned! Where I live it's 90F and humid 24/7 365. Also we only have 91 Oct...
  9. ► APEX | New Forged Sprint™ Line - Lightweight Motorsport Wheels For Your Civic Type-R

I just purchased a set of VS-5RS 18x10.5 et47. Emailed them before ordering and Matt Thompson responded to all my questions. You do not need extended studs. But you will need 60 degree conical seat lug nuts, so I ordered a set of McGards. Hope this helps!
  10. TRUU’s FL5 CTR #000353 SGP Build Thread

You ever install the cams yet? Nice build! I have PRL intercooler and a twostepperforamnce catted downpipe on the way. Picking up a gently used Remark touring exhaust amd a new 27won rmm from a friend and finally going to send my ecu for jailbreak next month and get a tune. Thinking of...
  11. Hondata FL5 FlashPro released

I really want to do the ecu unlock but not comfortable sending my ecu across the pacific ocean lol itll get lost with my luck. Plus I never got a response for shipping quite from hondata yet so I don't know how expensive shipping will be. I'm hoping and waiting for instant jailbreak.
  12. Downpipe Options

Anyone have experience with the 27won downpipe? Codes? I don't have emissions testing here where I live luckily. I'm between tsp or 27won at the moment.
  13. Car wash process with ceramic coat?

This is literally my first post haha. Picked up my CBP FL5 a little over a month ago. I was a professional Detailer for almost 6 years. Getting ready to wash, decon, paint correct and cermaic coat my car soon. For a ceramic coated vehicle a good, safe wash method of your choice, then an SiO2...
