Just came through a similar issue on my FL5. Ballpark 8800 miles and all of a sudden screeching noise from the front right wheel like metal-on-metal death sounds. Primarily at low speeds but also noticeable up to ~50mph.
Intensity of sound was variable. Took to dealer to assess.

As a Ford Bronco owner, I could not agree more. I think it’s a combo of base (or lack thereof for the CTR) and time (though this is getting weaker). I find myself contrasting the two aftermarkets and even the online content/forums constantly…and wishing for more with the CTR.
We have steelies on our Bronco and I’ll be honest I am tempted…that or some Honda takeoffs if I can’t figure out this complicated winter/track combo.
Thanks for posting the clarification and this is exactly what I’m wondering.
Appreciate all the feedback from the community. Seeing plenty of posts on how the stock wheels/tires are not built for freezing temps and thus considering all options.
Does anyone run an extra set of wheels (and two sets of tires) for winter and track duty? Tire switchover in fall (winters go on car) and spring (track tires and wheels stored off vehicle for track use only). Crazy idea?
Quick simple mod - Sly Brackets front license plate holder. Simple install, really pleased with the results. high quality and all install parts included. Highly recommend.
Thanks for all the insights!!!
I picked up the Adam's Mega Foam and will start using that. Also added the CG Hydrothread for the fabric in the interior. Have some Adam's tire, will keep using that. Also grabbed the exoforma permashine to experiment with.
For the paint correction/ceramic...
Just picked up my Type R. Prior DD was a 2014 LS460. Huge believer in Chemical Guys, but now I have a bunch of leather cleaner/conditioner products that I can't use. :)
What do you all like for the interior Honda rubber/plastic? How about the fabric?
Last, wheel cleaner with the matte factory...
