I’m thoroughly enjoying my Q300 exhaust I installed last week. I previously ran the remark dual tip stainless but I removed it due to drone. This new setup is the sweet spot for me, loud when I want it and quiet when I don’t. Bonus that the tone with the valve open from inside the cabin is very...
I use low profile ramps and a low profile 3 ton daytona jack to lift from the front jack point. The ramps only raise the car 2.5" but it gives me enough clearance even with my front lip.
Looks great from the rear. The adjustable rear hangers let me tuck it up pretty high which I prefer.
I had a remark dual tip stainless exhaust before so it’s the easiest way for me to compare it. Valve open it’s louder than the remark, valve closed it’s quieter with a hell of a lot less...
Got the install knocked out and it was surprisingly easy to bend the piping with vise grips to get the tips on so no real issue there.
You can’t completely set all 3 tips flush with each other but you can get them very close. The center solidly mounts and the outer tips when flush with the...
I have a Q300 sitting in my garage waiting to be installed on Friday, I can follow up with pictures after complete. Just have to fight my tips a bit since the slip-ons are out of round on all 3 🥳
Classic Invidia packaging
I can tell you just from playing with the system after unboxing that...
Convince my wife to drive and you’ve got a deal, I’ve been barking up that tree for months now. I would save almost the sale price of the exhaust itself on travel if we drove đź«
That’s disappointing. I went back to stock with the valve mod over the weekend and I’ve been enjoying the car more these last few days. It seems like every exhaust option for these cars has at least some form of drone and my ears are obviously past dealing with that.
I debated HR vs going back to stock especially since they’re local to me, but figured I have the stock setup in my shed might as well just take the free route. Once I get this car paid off next year, I may think about trying out the HR. I’ve heard it in person and it’s super quiet with the...
Agree 100% but it’s specifically the range between 2500-3500 when on load or decel, it’s ruining the drive for me. 20 years ago I would’ve wanted it 3x as loud, aging sucks.
