If you want a recommendation on a good shop in the LA/socal area for Type R specialists, go to RCraft in El Monte.

Like I said, you 'can' but doesn't mean technically you should. Winching from the "tie down" points is much less stress than say you're stuck in a ditch and you need to be yanked out by a snatch strap. You don't want to yank from those tie down points; very easy to bend that metal and...
The fronts factory points you're talking about are technically tie down points while on a tow truck or for transport trailer. They technically arent rated to be "towed" by. Most people may use them to winch from or tow from but thats at your own risk.
The factory rated tow point is in the rear...
The whole thing should be stainless steel. Exact grade, not sure - likely T304 though. And yeah its coated similarly to cerakote or high temp temp in a dark grey
We charge 3 hours for spring install. It should range from 3-4 hours generally. Alignment separate (we dont do alignments so we contract it out to another shop close by). Let me guess - was the $450 3 hours @ $150/hr?
We can get you CE28s no problem, but if you're looking for a one-stop-shop because chrome since isnt a factory option, look into Sensei6.
Have been their customer before many times both personal and business. One of the best in the business for a one-stop-shop for custom rebuilding and...
Wheelflip has been around for forever. They used to (maybe still do) have a marketplace where members could post their own wheels, along with the wheels they themselves are selling. More accurately, they're more of a wheel refinishing business that happens to also sell wheels.
That being said...
Thanks for the tag, but we try not to touch custom electronic stuff like that. We do have a few recommendations for other shops that specialize in custom electronic mods, including mood/ambient lighting and fiber optic headliners (starry headliners, etc) as they specialize and do that all day...
A "fire drill" of sorts. Shimmied and scooched it inbetween the bays while we worked on a customers F87 M2 Comp to avoid potential hail (which there was nothing but rain 🙃). That was a fun "oh shit" moment.
The upper SPC/Eibach arm is for camber, and the lower arm (not control arm bucket - the one to the left of the eibach arms in this pic) is for toe. But in reality, everything is connected - you adjust camber or toe and one follows suit. Although yes technically you can adjust camber here too...
Datalogged here with a Turbosmart BOV. LTFT, STFT, AFR (obvious rich condition between shifts but thats not alarming), Injector duty cycle, boost target (torque value stategy on the ECU);etc had no negative effects. Adding an aftermarket intake had more revsions in the tune (though still within...
This is why the Turbosmart Kompact BOV is a popular buy. Its similar to the Tials in its deep woosh/sneeze rather than the fluttery higher pitched SSQV
Completely depends on the specific tire. If we're talking about CRS, I was able to beat tire rack and had them in stock, while Tire Rack told this customer its backordered until August for them, so we won their business.
