Haha nah I don’t really have a problem with the GR sport Rav. To each their own. I don’t really have a problem with any of those kind of vehicles, but it’s just nice to know that Honda reserves the Type R and Si names for cars that deserve the badge.
yup that’s what I love about Honda. They’re unwilling to dilute the Type R or the Si name like most other brands. That could always change, but I’m happy I don’t have to see a “Type R Sport CRV” on the streets lol.
Update:
Honda has confirmed the move in a statement to Carscoops, though the company frames it around “evolving business conditions” rather than the EPA certification issue cited in the leaked plant notice. Both trims are planned to return, and dealer stock should last into early 2027. Honda...

Yessir l, I’ll PM you some photos. Got to see a simulated Dogfight between two P51s and a ME262. I also got to do an in-formation ride along with the Titan aerobatic team doing aerobatics.
The comment was deleted, but on this Reddit thread in R/Civic_Type_R, someone claiming to be the head of marketing for the Type R (or something) said that there will be an announcement regarding the North American Type R in November and that they were "going out with a bang." Something like...
