For dual lane watch, in my imagination, lane watch would work respectively for left and right and when not turning but pressing the button both would show in split screen.
I thought the CVT was limiting factor for tuning the L15B7, not internals.
What do we think of changes under the hood. Excuse me, what do we _hope_ for changes under the hood?
I own a CVT EXL. That said... I think having a truer distinction on the Si would be nice to keep the it from being distilled down to the transmission and the LSD.
Here is what I think would...
Since you have decided to have pros do the work, I'll mostly just touch on the other stuff. But first... If you even vaguely think you may want the DP wrapped in tape at some point... Do it when you open the box, or never think about it again. If your car isn't brand new or uber lightly used...
I will probably try the bung this weekend, and will be driving a route that I have thrown CEL on 5/6 of the last times I drove it. Not a huge sample size, but better than guessing. I'll report back. I love the pipes otherwise. In PA, I can pass inspection with one not-ready, so I was never...
I installed the catted combo back in June of 2017. I've since put over 7000mi on the car, and have recently been throwing CELs with some frequency. For the first 6 months I had maybe one CEL, and after clearing it I just became mindful about spirited driving up a grade behind a dirty car if my...
@maddmatt02 suggested a preventative measure I think is good. My former situation may not be the same as your current one, because i would never have called the sound emanating from under the body and hood "interesting."
for me, i did not hear the sound until after having already driven a few...
I am interested why you (and others) are seeking (I am assuming) just the front pipe. Mostly because I am not aware that anyone has put a car with the just the front pipe swapped on a dyno. If you are concerned about CELs with the downpipe, you may considered contacting PRL and asking what the...
(I just sent Spencer a follow-up email) I was able to basically re-work the install of the DP to allow the brackets to fit like they did from the factory. I can confirm that my issue was not due to a loose or bent heatshield- it was in fact the tight clearance of the front pipe under the engine...
that is, in fact, the prl catted combo. I did not use a defouler, and have yet to have a cel thrown after a couple hundred miles. While on the phone with an engineer or specialist (idk for sure) about my grinding metal sound, they said a surprising number of end users have reported the same...
I took the car to a garage to get it on a lift... The front pipe looks too long for the vehicle: The flex portion is very compressed, and the hanger is not laying straight. The sound I have appears to be coming from the flex pipe vibrating against the underside of the pan, because the textured...
i put the stock O2 sensor onto the PRL DP after i installed both pipes, no defouler, and I've gone a couple hundred miles without the CEL coming on at all.
Did you (or anyone else) have mild rattling/grinding sounds below 1800rpm when beginning to move from a standstill? I couldn't quite figure out which nuts and bolts to use when mating all the pipes together- going from studs on oem to not caught me up. I ended up using a mixture of oem...
Can someone please post a picture of the studs that are putting the fear in me? I am planning on doing my install tomorrow. I have a 1/4" impact driver with the necessary socket sizes, and a breaker bar (1/2", but I /do not/ have sockets for that). I have pb blaster, but want to know what I...
More power to you, but id like to know what more performance-wise can be gained with an intake after getting a tune with these pipes? Also curious if you are interested in a future turbo upgrade.
for my situation, with the cvt , i think i am going to be maxed out on what can be extracted from...
