2022 Honda Civic Seats too low Solution

My mom is looking at a 2022 Honda Civic Sport to buy but the seats are very low. It's hard for her to get in and out of and also to see over the steering wheel.

Are there any suggestion for this? Maybe something a dealer or shop could install or other ideas?

Jack up the seat? Other than that there may be an SUV in her future.

I owned an ‘07 Civic Si for 8 years, and these ‘22 seats feel much lower than my old car. My wife groans every time she gets out of the passenger seat. Are they actually lower now?

Yes the seating positions in the Si and Sport trims can be set pretty low.
The only solution is to do what CeeBee said and that’s to use the seat height pump handle and jack that baby up! ??

The Si has less headroom than other models. I believe due to the seats are sit taller in its lowest setting. Not sure how it compares to the Sport at it's highest setting.

In lowest setting I had 1 inch of headroom left in the Si, and about 3-4 inches left in the Sport. Sport has no sunroof so have to take in account for the extra headroom.

I wish I can get even lower in the Si.

Also there's at least one company that makes spacer kits ("shims") for autos, including Civics, to raise the seat height an inch or so - if headroom is no issue you should be able to Google it here or on the 'net. Should ba an easy install for manual seats.
