Location can be solved for pretty easily! Typically $1,800-$2,200 gets you a quality transport company with a fully enclosed trailer to your door.

Take into consideration - shipping cost => adds 2k, aftermarket parts not installed on vehicle => loss of value, ability to not see the car => ?

There's hardly any CTRs for sale, so I don't know why you think people wouldn't be on the market.

I've purchased my last 718 Cayman GTS out of state from a dealership that handled the shipping. This was 2 years ago. To me, was a good deal. When local with someone, you get to work out a better deal with them and you get the aforementioned parts listed on the AD.

This is purely dependent on where you live, I cross shopped 4 dealers with at least 2 CTRs (either there or being transported).

There's a reason we have a stereotype over CTR buyers being stupid with money, a ton paid like $5k-10k over MSRP. No need for that now.

In SoCal, everything is stupidly priced - because kids have parents that give them money to buy such things here.

Just cross shopping porsches, you'll see Macan GTS/S's sell for 7-10k more locally with more mileage because they're swimming in money. Don't get me started on 911s

I just reached out to a dealership on the east coast for a boost blue, well it's gone. It was 500 under MSRP.

So you're right, it's very location dependent. I was speaking in terms of where I live anyways.

For some clarity to make sure anyone that's interested doesn't think I must be a difficult seller, the first buyer asked me at the 11th hour to sign the car over as a gift to avoid paying taxes and I wouldn't. The second buyer unfortunately had issues getting their credit union to provide a loan for a private party out-of-state sale.

So here we are, back looking for the right buyer! Thanks for looking, everyone.
